Re: NCAA 10 New Screenshots
LolAn open plea to EA:
PLEASE put the option to mess with the equipment (hell make it so they can make cool "fantasy" face masks too) in the damn game so everyone who is so mortified about the facemasks can play "Barbie dress-up Football 2010" and then they will be happy campers even if the game sucks a$$ and plays like shyte!!!You either in or you out and if you're out, then you better stay in because them wolves is out..Comment

Re: NCAA 10 New Screenshots
Either way players at all positions wear it and it might be the most popular facemask in college right now. Not putting it in now 35%+ of the players in the game has the wrong facemask before the game even comes out.You looking at the Chair MAN!

Re: NCAA 10 New Screenshots
Its been said countless numbers of times gameplay and accessories have no barring on each other so why do people keep trying to connect the two? And why should we have one or the other anyway! An open plea to EA:

On a more topical note...the animations for running certainly do look to be the same..I just hope that in full motion they are smoother than on the PS3 this year....I HATE the replays that show guys clearly missing strides and doing some really weird warping on long runs....
The Crabtree shot of the player grabbing a pass without jumping (ie. in stride) is very nice, but I remember seeing things in previous years "sizzle" trailers that made it seem like hitting WRs in stride would be in game too (and sadly that has never really translated to gameplay very much if at all)...You looking at the Chair MAN!

Re: NCAA 10 New Screenshots
No, they don't have many, but many teams have a mish-mash of helmet types because they all fit differently.
Somebody earlier said that teams are either all Riddell or all Schutt, but this is usually not the case because of specific player's needs.
For example, Texas is probably 95% Riddell, but specific players (Chykie Brown and Keenan Robinson come to mind) have those Schutt DNA facemasks as well.Comment

Re: NCAA 10 New Screenshots
Yeah i kind of worded what I was trying to say wrong, it is normally skewed one way or the other, but you do see a mix and match.
And to address another point why should we have to sacrifice gameplay for accessories. They are all part of the game, I would like having both of them so the game would be more realistic. I'm gonna buy the game either way, but I like having all the accessories and good gameplay.Comment

Re: NCAA 10 New Screenshots
Isn't it the art team that handles accessories? If so, I'm sure they spent almost all their time this cycle on the new field art, stadiums, and then I feel like 90% of their time was spent on the custom logos, field art, and whatnot that will be going into Teambuilder.Yeah i kind of worded what I was trying to say wrong, it is normally skewed one way or the other, but you do see a mix and match.

We SHOULD see some accessory upgrades for 2011 though.Comment

Re: NCAA 10 New Screenshots
Yeah I'm sure that took up a mojority of the time, and like I said even if it is lacking accessories, I'm still gonna buy it Day 1 and play it year round like I did this year. I was just saying that just because we expect to have all the accessories doesn't mean we don't care about gameplay.Isn't it the art team that handles accessories? Re: NCAA 10 New Screenshots
I would rather have the accessories over teambuilder! Accessories in my opinion effect way more people then teambuilder. The CAS fans are passionate but not huge everybody want there favorite players to be an exact like-a-look to that real player IMO.Isn't it the art team that handles accessories? I like the new teambuiler feature, but an equipment overhaul should be at the very top of the list for 2011.Comment

It's called the art department. The entire does not solely work on gameplay. Stop being a dick.An open plea to EA:
