Even with this 'enlarged' group, the number of people working on
Backbreaker is significantly smaller than that of other next-gen titles. The reason we are able to do this is that we have some of the most advanced technology at our disposal, namely euphoria and morpheme. By using euphoria, we do not need an army of animators and animation programmers creating thousands of player interactions - instead, euphoria uses the hardware's CPUs to calculate them in real-time. By using morpheme, we can graphically author how everything gels together, rather than using a large team doing all of this by hand.
