I could be wrong and it's only an import feature from the hard drive, but I'm pretty sure when they said upload logos, that they mean what I said before.Comment

It does get better every year. That's why some people like me get annoyed when people complain that a new feature should not have been included at all just because it wasn't done exactly the way you want it.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 10: Teambuilder News
I certainly don't accept everything they do as a good idea. Mascot games, bowling, that stuff. I hate replay being in the game. I could do without Campus Legend. Some of the glitches in the game, that they should have fixed but haven't yet, drive me crazy. The only reason you think I accept everything they do as a good idea is because, unlike you, I don't spend 90% of my energy complaining about the features that I don't like.Last edited by TrevJo; 04-23-2009, 09:03 PM.Comment

I don't think you'll have to. I think it may be like tiger Woods and Nascar '09, where you can upload it to your EA locker(I think that how they do it) from the EASportWorld site, then you can use it in-game.

Why is it my opinion bothers you? Yours dont bother me if you like what your getting great ,but you shouldnt take the opposite views personal. Because its your opinion that this game has gotten better. There are things that I loved about 09 but like most people I rather discuss the things I dont like so it can be addressed. You looking at the Chair MAN!

Personally, I think if there's one area where there are really legitimate complaints, it all has to do with the CPU AI. Demanding fluff features like accessories, trying to fix what isn't broke (sprint button), looking a gift horse in the mouth (getting TeamBuilder and demanding full FCS instead), stuff like that I think sends the wrong message to EA. And I think it bothers me a little bit more when it's presented with a "It has to be done or it's not sim" attitude.
Just like you, I appreciate it when they spend their time on things that make it a better game, and get bummed when they don't. So if others are going to spend lots of time bashing on new features that I think are great, and clamor for new features that I think would suck, it only makes sense to give EA some positive reinforcement to balance it out.Last edited by TrevJo; 04-23-2009, 09:58 PM.Comment

i dont accept everything they do as a good idea but if i took your approach i'd never be satisfied or enjoy the game because theres always something that will seperate a video game from real life.Comment

I don't take it personally. But some stuff rubs me the wrong way when I think it's totally the wrong approach. It's also because, I work in the software industry and I feel like a lot of your complaints are pretty ungrateful for the real progress they make and a lot of your demands are unrealistic in terms of actual work/resources they would require. And when I say you, I don't really want to single you out in particular, but there is really kind of a persistent group of forum members that act like they are the epitome of "sim," like they have higher standards for the game than everyone else (including the actual EA guys). When really, everyone here wants a great product, wants a great deal of realism, and is passionate about it. FYI, when EA does something or doesn't do something, or when people give EA some credit, it's not because of low standards.

And who counts accessories as a feature? And maybe im ignorant to how things work but how hard is it to add some facemask? OMT discussed the long hair thing and I understood(even though I didnt like it) I moved on.You looking at the Chair MAN!

Re: EA Announces Four NCAA Football 10 Cover Athletes, Teambuilder News
I really dont mind people who are hating the CAS. I mean, what if we were all happy about everything... what would be the incentive to satisfy the consumers if they were already happy. You cant please everyone, and EA knows that... but I really do think they have pleased most with this addition. I know I am pleased! I just hope there is not a CAP on how many teams we can have. When NCAA football 2003 came out there was no cap. I was going in to my Senior year of High School in Houston Texas (Willowridge). I must have created about 50 schools that year. I think they had a cap on how many you can swap in a dynasty, but man I had a great time with that. Every day after football practice my boys would come over and we would play and add more realism to all the teams rosters. I even talked to this girl who was a majorette and she gave me some band music on a cd, so I set up a audio splitter and everytime I did somethin that was worthy, I had the band play a song. And our band kicked *** too! I cant wait to use this feature and create all those houston teams again. 2001 Hightower vs 2001 Madison with Vince Young... ewwwww. Or my 2002 Willowridge vs. Madison the year after they lost VY and we beat them in tha Astrodome... memories!Comment

Re: Official Teambuilder News
You guys do realize that EVERY game that has ever had create-a-team requires you to sub out another team. The programming that would be required to add an extra team to a league is absolutely not worth the time or hassle. Just take out some little crap team that you don't care for at all, then use the new custom conference feature to put your team in a conference you want. That's how it has always been in every sports game. I don't see why all of a sudden it's so horrible. I'm just ****ing stoked that I can FINALLY play as App. St. on this current gen of consoles. IMO it took way too long, but the possibility is finally here and thats good enough for me.Comment

I am incredibly excited to get this game in my hands now. Bethune Cookman vs. Dartmouth for the BCS...finally it can happen. Just joking, but this does open things up for some interesting possibilities.I bleed Garnet and Gold. In The 'Slim Reaper' We Trust. Go Noles!Comment

Re: Official Teambuilder News
No. You're wrong. It would take EA next to no programing to let Dynasty players schedule an CAS team that wasn't subbed into the FBS. The only stats that would be generated would be the score of the game and the effect on your win/loss column. Just as FCS southwest etc... weren't hard to put in; they aren't effectively in the game at all. If EA won't let me do this then it's a broken deal for me unless they put FCS teams in the game. I still think they'd be incredibly stupid not to have this feature in anyway.Comment
