Lol at the people telling us not to use inductive reaoning of past Maddens because this is a new team. This is the same team that featured a lead designer who had no idea there were no computer sliders whatsoever in the game A WEEK BEFORE THE GAME WAS RELEASED, lol.

Lol at the mods and such saying that it's an early build and not to worry. Since when has Madden looked different from it's trailers in the history of madden or ncaa in the 21st century? Its the same nonsense every year. The fact of the matter is what we've seen is what we will get-

Alot of improvements on a game that is naturally herk jerky jumbled up twitchiness. Polishing a turd....

We have been spoiled with this trailer. Just look at last years trailers and see how LITTLE gameplay was shown in the past.

was it really that bad? i mean the running animations suck but i play 2k5 a lot so im used to that. i didnt think it was THAT bad.... can we all at least agree it's a step in the right direction?

My sentiments exactly. I'm definitely as frustrated as others here at OS, over past efforts, er, lack there of. But, I don't think it's that bad. Some parts seem more fluid than in the past. But, it's still the same engine. As long as the game PLAYS better than last year. The graphics didin't wow me. But, from my experience of being here at OS, I think most of us just want a real effort toward sim, and good gameplay. It could very well be a great debut for Ian and co.

At the least it looks to be the game we should have gotten in 06.

He had them at the beginning of the season, I'll try to put in a note to make sure he has a fade in the game.

Nothing much, just comparing this dev team.

Some people here that are posting how its going to be another disappointment need to really wake up and smell the coffee.

Everyone knows that where still in April right??

Does everyone also know that the trailer was an earlier build and that the game is not coming out next month?

If the game is on the line and I need a 3 im going with Ian and Co(as my Kobe)...you guys posting the lame disappointment crap without knowing the facts and realizing we didnt have what we are receiving now in previous years can go with the old dev team aka Lebrick if I need a 3.

Knowing the facts? You act like you KNOW how the final build of the game will play. The facts are (as of now) there is one gameplay trailer that a lot of people are dissappointed about. What the f*ck else are we suppose to go off of. I'll agree that Ian and team are doing this the right way (by interacting) but I'm not about to crown them by what I saw.

Who cares if its April?

Last year Gameplay was released late April for 09 and guess what? The gameplay didn't change in the 4 months leading to the release date.

Stop using its only April as an excuse.

Yeah...I was hoping to see smoother more fluid animations.

Did anyone notice how both QB's at the end of the video clip had no pressure put on them?? I'm mean Big Ben was just sitting there with all kinds of time and the oline was once again in a straight line, no pocket whats so ever.. Wheres the pocket or the DE's come from the edge?? He looked like he was standing 10 yards from the oline? I thought they where working on the oline & dline animations??? Why cant they make the oline & dline animations look like 2k's???? damn....

The OMG people were going to Omg no matter what. after seeing the ronnie brown screens I was really excited. This video has lowered my expectations. Graphically it's nothing new, player models may have gotten worse, they all look stumpy not like athletes..what happened to the new Qb dropback, it looks the same. Animations are not fluid. Night lighting is still too dark. The wii running looked better. Just dissapointed right now. Between The devs and the 8 community members I was expecting to be blown away. Sadly, and i know it's just a trailer and still early 2k still looks more advanced and smoother.

This is a hype machine! Why are we not holding Ian and EA accountable for these sorry *** player models? Did anyone notice the center of the Cardinals not blocking anyone? How many times did #63 for the cards looked lost? This game and its robotic players is light years away from 2K or Back Breaker. I think N64 had better player movements!

Not excited at all. This is my only option for an up to date NFL game for the next year.

Its just funny to see how the die-hard people react to how bad the trailer really is.

That's the thing though it wasn't that bad IMO. I saw some things I didn't like, but I'm not gonna throw out everything that has been posted and said by devs and OS posters who's opinions I trust. It definitely wasn't as bad as you're making it out to be, at least IMO.
