Re: NCAA Football 10: Team Builder Tutorial!
Yea it seemed that ANY helmet already in the game can be selected as well. This thing is so awesome. I didn't see any option for helmet stickers, but there was an option for a team mascot. He just skipped over it.Ya at one point they showed a mich wing helmet. It actually looked like any type of stripe pattern used by a real ncaa school can be chosen. Even colorado st's ram horns!!!! Wow I cant wait for the website to launch!!!
Yeah we can download of EA locker... At least thats what I have got from it all....Comment

Not exactly. We aren't using locker for TeamBuilder. It is done through the EA Sports World database system.Comment

And idk if you can answer this, but will the pre-exisiting team's banners and what-not still be on the CAT field in the final version? (like the Cal thing on the scoreboard and flags around the stadium)Comment

Re: NCAA Football 10: Team Builder Tutorial!
Really, really impressed. So the team builder will actually be a web application that you then use to upload the team to the EA Locker?
Secondly, for creating players -- will we be able to simply start with 0 players and then create them individually or will we have to work off of a template? I think it'd be easier to start with zero and just create all of them until the minimum roster is set up.
The game play looked pretty much the same, which is a little disheartening, but overall I am very impressed.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 10: Team Builder Tutorial!
Here's my question on Teambuilder: can you use a created team in an online dynasty? Here's a scenario a buddy and I would like to use it for.
Oklahoma State used to have pride stickers. I'd like to recreate their uniforms, keep their rosters, and add the pride stickers back to their helmets. My buddy would like to add patches/emblems to acknowledge championship wins, etc. We'd like to be able to build uniforms to use in the online dynasty, but with real teams (I'd really like to give Oklahoma State black uniforms as an alternate.)Comment

Am I the only one that noticed the risk and reward gameplay menu? Pause the "gameplay" video at 0:19, seems like you can choose how you want your defense to play: Aggressive, Balanced, or Conservative with advantages to each one. Pretty cool stuff.
EDIT: Guess I wasn't, a thread was created.Last edited by BSherrod; 04-24-2009, 07:13 PM.Roll Tide

Re: NCAA Football 10: Team Builder Tutorial!
I'm not gonna lie, I'm very impressed. I expected it to be a half-arsed feature similar to that of past gen consoles, everything done in game from templates. But this is amazing!
Now I'm wondering if this is going to be able to be expanded to regular roster editing. Is it feasible for us to add alternate or different jerseys to teams already in the game? And what are the limits? Is there a limit as to how many alternate unis one team can have? I might get tired at staring at those hideous VT jerseys so I might want to go back to the old ones or make a couple modifications.
