I don't think the color of shows is a big thing. I mean to few people it might mean something. But I am in it more for the gameplay then anything. But I could be wrong.

Having color in the cleats is a critical aspect to the overall on field player presentation. We are not asking for elaborate designs, nike swooshes or reebok logos. Just some color. Basic color. Its very simple, it doesnt even have to be on an individual player basis.

Player is at home = Black/Team Color cleats

Player is on the Road = White/Team Color cleats

Vice Versa or whatever

anything and everything is better than this plain black and plain grey cleats. Please Ian hear our cries. If you can do it, get it in. This is my plea.

Exactly. I understand there are licensing issues so I'm not asking for a whole bunch of different cleats, but at least give us the team colors.

everyone that keeps saying i'd rather them improve the gameplay, well duh, they do that anyway. Its not like people are asking them not to improve the gameplay just to add color to the cleats. But just like they add new accessories or helmets or uniforms from year to year they can add color to the cleats one year and never have to do it again. And there isnt 5 people working on the game so just because they work on adding color to the cleats doesnt mean they have no time to work on gameplay. With the info we've seen its obvious there have been tons of improvements to gameplay.

I say we should get some new gloves. These are sick and should be put in the game, along with the option to alter their colors.
Troy and Larry are wearing them on the cover, they should be in the game.

Apparel wise I think the NFL has something with Reebok. That's all I can think of that's at the back of my mind.

If you look at Troy's gloves they have both the NFL and Nike logos. There are many players in the NFL who wear the Nike gloves, but the swoosh is replaced, or moved in place of the NFL shield.

yeah there are many guys that wear nike gloves and cleats because as individuals they have that choice but as far as official nfl gear it is reebok. As far as why those guys have the NFL logo on their Nike gloves, i believe (someone correct me if i'm wrong) that any accessories they wear must have the NFL shield, basically product placement. Thats why armbands are NFL armbands, gloves gotta have the NFL logo. The only thing i thnk that its not required to be on is cleats. All the jerseys & pants are reebok and any official nfl merchandise you get off the nfl's site is reebok.
