Pat white's full rating set has been posted. To all those people over reacting about his overall, I am going to say if those end up being final that he looks like the most effective 61 overall i have ever seen in a roster put out by madden.

I think they got his ratings about right. He is a weapon, not a traditional QB.

Couple of quick thoughts about this before the debate continues...

Seeing all of the back and forth about it yesterday with regards to the 61 OVR compelled me to post the whole set of ratings today. If you're going to discuss it, it's important to have all of the information available. Remember that the ratings are stretched out this year and that a 61 OVR this year doesn't mean what it meant in the past.

Also FYI, Pat White is at about the middle of the pack in terms of rookie QB OVRs. There are 9 QBs with higher OVRs and 8 with lower OVRs. I'm going to post a document with all of the rookie ratings later today so you can better compare him to all of the other QBs in the Draft.

Of course no matter what Pat White is rated, if we've pegged him wrong that can quickly be changed in a future roster update if he starts lighting it up in the pre-season.

Curious to see all of your thoughts now that you have all of the info.

Thanks raczilla, can't wait to see the full list as it should really help with comparisons. I agree that as a QB pat fits win as like 8th or 9th in class. He was not drafted because Miami thinks he can be a traditional QB.

They are 100% perfect! I was very close in the other thread when I rated him. Almost spot on actually. Good job Donny with these ratings. He is still gonna be dangerous to use but not gonna be able to cheese with him at qb all game. Perfect!

Yeah, I'd still say his accuracies are a bit low, imo, but he does look pretty effective.

I forget to realize sometimes that the rating system is now stretched. Initially when I saw a 61 (OVR) I was like wtf!!!<O</O

It seems pretty accurate though.
His accuracy needs to be increased a little bit if anything...?

Why is the old Throw Accuracy rating still there, if there are now three other Throw Accuracy ratings for short, medium, and deep passes? Just curious.

That looks good for Pat White, IMO.

I feel that he may have a stronger arm but not by much.

I think thats about where he currently is in the NFL. I posted in the debate thread something almost like this but I was off on the awareness.

He was the MVP of the senior bowl but he did go 5 out of 11 passes(I think) I just remember he was close to making a lot of those incomplete passes. Its hard to think sometimes that a QB that throws such a nice looking ball isnt always as accurate as you would want.

Also what is TAS?

Yes, his accuracy and power are low enough that you will not want him throwing 25 or 30 times a game, especially with them reworking accuracy and power and how it effects the game. However if the opponent is looking heavily for the run when he steps in his arm is good enough that he will be able to complete passes.

His legs on the other hand, he will be extremely dangerous in this area. If he ever catches a defense not looking to watch for him running it could be a huge play and even if they are watching for him he can make people miss and make big plays.

As a WR his current ratings don't make him a starter by any means but I would bet they give him some potential there. Currently though his ratings are good enough he will generally be able to catch screens and little dumpoffs and after that his running ability is going to be enough to burn people.

His ratings are about perfect.

That looks good for Pat White, IMO.

If I was leaving it in I would have it be the base accuracy rating and then use the ranged accuracy ratings as a modifier to that.

Knowing EA though it will probably just take them like 4 or 5 years to phase it out like with the old blocking ratings. This would be because that accuracy is figured into so many equations from on field performance to sim stats to overall ratings to possibly value in trades and free agency

I figured it out once I started to use my brain and think what are these new things next to throw on the run and play action
