It's cheesy.

It's horribly unrealistic.

It's probably the worst "feature" in NCAA history..and that's saying something.

And yet something won't let you EA guys from burying this horrid virus of a feature in a deep dark hole.

Why? For the love of all that is holy why? What is your incredible love for this HORRIBLE cheat...oh...excuse me...feature?

Because since EA killed off so many cheese features from last year they had to leave at least one or people will complain "the game is tooooo hard!"

i can understand if you play online a lot and want to complain about this but i dont enjoy playing online so i could care less that its still in there since i dont really use it anyway.

that would be fine, but the CPU abuses jump the snap more than any human I've ever played.

Worst feature goes to last gen 07's momentum, but this is pretty irritating. The most we can hope for is an AI occurrence adjustment. I know I'll never be using it, and I'll have to ban the use of it in my Online Dynasty (again).

Where did this idea originate anyways? Jump the snap contradicts the snap-count discipline D-Lineman learned in youth football: watch the ball, don't even listen to the QB, much less guess the count.

i miss the feature where the camera would shake the louder the stadium got. That really gave you a great college atmosphere type feel.

Seriously, the cpu uses this feature every single play. I always see jump the snap pop up in the corner. This is horrendous.

I don't think they can let us turn it off since it's so ingrained in the cpu AI now.

The PS2 version of NCAA '07 improved on a lot of things from '06. But jump the snap and the changes to the kicking game in '07 were awful. Overdone momentum was just behind those imo. Jump the snap was beyond terrible in '07 but I didn't find it that bad last year. I should say I rarely play as a DL so other like AA would have a better opinion of it. It's just something I don't use and I didn't think the cpu abused it too bad last year.

At this point, I would have to say the right analog kicking system is the worst new feature in the game for me. Its just horribly unrealistic in the results in produces (ie. no user misses on kicks from the middle of the field).

while you're correct that D-line is taught to watch the ball and move when the ball moves, guys do jump the snap count. As a coach we usually try to know what kind of cadence the opponent has. Ours is usually good for getting the D offsides at least once because we have the QB say, Hike, then the line goes from their ready position, all pop up at the same time and go down to their 3 point stance, then when everyone is set our QB does the color & #, color & # then says hike again. But if we see that a team is constantly going on 1 or when i used to play if you can start to time their cadence you sometimes take a chance and jump the snap count.

i really never noticed, i know i do get them offsides a decent amount because i change the snap count.

The JTS = seeing the CPU DL completely blow up your OL in about .1 seconds.

I want the option to turn it off so bad!
