This is why left tackles are at a premium, and why the best pass rushing DE in a 4-3 scheme is lined up on the defense's right(which is the QB's left). This will add more realism to scouting, drafting, and FA in franchise. You'd be more likely to pay a lot for a stud left tackle in your franchise, because your QB(who's prolly a righty) will be more vunerable on that side. Even if your QB is a lefty, a LT will still be more important than a RT. Even though a lefty's blindside will be on the right, when going against a 4-3, the team's best pass rusher is still on coming from the QB's left.

Should the pass rush vibration happen on the QB's blind side ?
With the pass rush warning/rumble feature, I think that I should rumble less or later on the QB's blind side. All QBs are less aware of pressure coming from the blindside, some have the ability to feel pressure and avoid it;however, they're less aware of pressure that's coming from their blind side. Depending on how good the DE is, and the QB's awareness rating, sometimes you shouldn't get any warning at all, you should just get blown up.

I voted yes, but should be no. He doesn't know that he's under pressure so the sack should be a shocker lol!PSN: xxplosive1984Originally posted by J. ColeFool me one time that's shame on you. I actually LOVE this idea.
It'd make having GOOD tackles and spending alot of money on them in franchise worthwhile, and also not feeling hesitant about drafting them with your first pick or some such. It'd make tackles be an even more extremely important part of the game.

Re: Should the pass rush vibration happen on the QB's blind side ?
I didn't vote yes or no, because it varies QB to QB. Some QB's just know when the pressure gets there, others have absolutely no idea. So in my opinion, it should be dependent on the QB's awareness rating in combination with chance. I say chance because although some QB's know the pressure is getting to them from their blindside, they don't always know it, and they get plowed over just like everyother QB. So I think it shouldn't rumble in general at all because even the slightest rumble is still a warning that QB's in real-life don't have.Comment

I voted yes. I mean, isn't that the whole point to replicate when they 'feel' not necessarily 'see' pressure?Comment

Re: Should the pass rush vibration happen on the QB's blind side ?
Yes - I think it should be based on the QB's awareness rating.
Elusive QB's with high awareness ratings should be able to "feel" pocket pressure, even if it's from their blind sides.
Statue QB's, like Kurt Warner, should not get much notice. They aren't going to avoid sacks like a Donovan McNabb can.Comment

Re: Should the pass rush vibration happen on the QB's blind side ?
QBs can still "feel" the pocket closing in on them, and that includes their blindside.
But I definitely think blindside hits from a guy coming full speed untouched shouldn't have a rumble warning.Comment

Re: Should the pass rush vibration happen on the QB's blind side ?
This is a fabulous idea. In my perfect madden there would be NO vibration on the blindside. You'd have to watch that side yourself if you want to avoid it. Keep the threat of those bookend pass rushers real.Xbox Live Gamertag: CreatineKasey

Re: Should the pass rush vibration happen on the QB's blind side ?
Overall the feature should work like this:
The better the QB awareness the sooner the rumble feature kicks in. For a right handed QB being rushed from the right it may rumble 1 second before contact. If the rush comes in from the blind side it should kick in just a split second before contact is made giving the qb just a split second to react to the pressure. (This would simulate that just sensing danger feel that some QB's get)Comment
