NBA Live 365 Subscription is Deal of the Week on Xbox Live (1up)

    1up has the details.

"From the department of not-quite-great deals, this week's Xbox Live Deal of the Week features the "365" subscription for NBA Live 09, which entitles you to Dynamic DNA updates to the game throughout the NBA season. The DLC's price has been slashed 30%, from 800 points ($10) to 560 ($7)."

At the end of the season, it should be slashed to 200 pts IMO. Just to give people a taste of what they were missing.

Wait a minute. You mean you had to pay for 365 Live? On both PS3 and 360?

Why does it matter if the game was used? I mean, if you buy a PC game used, you can still download patches and other free content for it. In about the only area where I might give Live a SMALL edge over NBA 2K, EA Sports, the evil empire of gaming, charges for a mid-season roster/DNA updates.

EA, I have an idea, if you want to charge for roster updates, do it at the beginning of the NBA season so gamers don't have to pay $60 for what amounts to ROSTER UPDATES, a few game play improvements, so-called improved graphics, incredible marketing, and ANOTHER second place finish to NBA 2K.
