Pitching kills me. I find myself talking at the TV alot when im pitching and give up a hit on a 1-2 count.
LOL, I know what you mean. Today, I was playing a game, but I always have an MLB.TV game on on my computer while I am playing. The real life Cubs did something good, and Len Casper started going wild, screaming and stuff, and he caused me to strike out in my game. D*** it Casper! It was a big spot too. I ended up winning 3-2, so alls well that ends well.
Anyway, I think I may have to lower the volume from now on.
I'm too much of a multitasker to turn everything off though. Maybe for the playoffs (if I make the playoffs ).

Man, I had a no hitter going (walked 1 guy in the 6th, but had a perfect game going to that point) with only 8 outs left to go and I just completely choked. The pitch meter was not even close to the accuracy line, and a double was hit off of me. You want to talk about talking to the TV. As Cosmo Kramer said in the Mel Torme episode, "I let the expletives fly!"

The entire game needs patience and it's too bad so many people have had some aren't giving it that. Man, you'd better learn to pitch. I got to tell you, the last game with the Cards I was peeking at the hot/cold zones of Mr. Pujols and Ludwick, A LOT! So I get lazy and Ankiel hits one over the CF wall. In review, right in a hot zone, lol. The game is intense.

I'm getting a lot more patient too and getting much better pitch counts. I had to slow down the pitch speed, but it's working for me.
I got tired of not drawing enough walks so I lowered pitch speed all the way down. I have no pride anymore when it comes to this game. It has kicked my behind left and right on All Star, and I finally feel like I am getting the hang of it. Plus I found sliders that are working for me and tame the CPU just a little more than Psycho has it (basically using Psychos sliders with some tweaks). It's working great for me.

Ever since the patch I no longer get those night games with daylight transitions....all my night games have no shadows and they start with semi dark sky and in the bottom of the first it turns pitch black all the time...

          no shadows......

I've played about 5 games post patch with my previous franchise. Is it doomed to fail at some point in the future, or should I be OK?

I haven't had any issues with post-game highlights and I've been able to call up replays when I have wanted to see them.

I'd rather restart now then later...

I played about 15 games with my pre-patch franchise then it crashed. Hence I have restarted.....

Quick questions if you may help.

I have the Patch and knights rosters V2 or V3 dont remember at the moment.

Ive played 70 games in my franchise and dont want to start over because of all the games ive already played and i also edit Walk up Music.

Sometimes i can see replays and Highlights sometimes i dont but maybe not pressing x will solve this?

Will i probably have my game crashed in the future like in second season? and maybe having no crash as just been lucky?

I also notice that very often now after i get a double or triple after my player arrives safely on base he starts running without me sending him? as anyone had this problem to?

Will the mini-patch solve my in game problems? Should i start over or continue my franchise?

If you started your franchise before the patch, it will probably crash. The mini-patch will only fix the problem with replays. It's really up to you whether or not to re-start your franchise.

In other words, continue your current franchise at your own risk.

In other words, bite the bullet and start over. I did.

It's so lame and frustrating the problems which come along with next gen games. Instead of excessive testing, they know they can POSSIBLY fix the problem in the future with a crappy patch.

Last year Madden kept freezing during games and I had to wait over a month to start my season.

The Show's games take much longer, and of course the season is much much longer than the NFL, so it's even more frustrating in this case when things are running right.

I started my MLB Franchise the day knight released the Full Minors V1 rosters. I love this game, very very much. I spent hours editing the music for every single MLB player. I have come to the conclusion that if my franchise crashes, I will not be restarting one. I have already invested far too much time. I'm 5 - 3 in my early season and have 3 exciting come from behind victories.

I've already started over twice, waiting for the rosters (which I appreciate very much). It's just heartbreaking to learn how screwed up things can be. My RTTS crashed as well. So I'm just venting my frustrations, sorry if you don't care.

I don't want to give up on this game, but I am not spending the countless hours only to start all over. All I can do is hope, hope, hope it doesn't crash.

Russell, is it confirmed that if we start a post-patch 1.06 franchise then we are in the clear from crashing?

Thanks for the update Russell. If I plan on starting a new franchise using patch 1.06 and the mini-patch with Knight's V5 rosters, do I need to delete and reinstall everything (sliders, rosters, profiles, etc) prior to doing this or is the fact that I am starting a new franchise based on the aforementioned good enough.

I would like to avoid having to blow everything away if possible, but don't want any post-patch issues either. Thanks in advance.

Yeah you should be free from those completely if you start over. But some should be able to continue their old franchises if they can get past the schedule change. That's why you discrepancies in why its not effecting everyone.
