So will you be able to try and strip the ball out of a ball carriers hands while he is engaged in a gang tackle?

id cry if you could reach the ball over the goal line or maybe even take the ball from a rb attempting to stretch that extra yard or two...its risky business holding out the ball or being in a position for someone to try and take the ball from you in a vulnerable position like being stood up or at the goal line

Uhh, I really don't think there will be a Backbreaker game, buddy. There hasn't been any new game related info in an extremely long time. I almost believe that this was all a ploy to show EA what they are missing out on by not acquiring the tech.
Whatever the case, I don't think there will be a Backbreaker game. I could be wrong but I really don't think so. And I also think that now that EA is making HUGE strides with Madden, Backbreaker won't stand a chance of even coming close, especially with NO NFL LICENSES. It'll be another APF 08 which was a dud...and an UGLY, PS2 looking, no new tech of a dud, at that.
Just cuz you pour syrup on ish....

I'm not hating on anything, I just don't like the clean look of the takcles, it doesn't look natural or violent, to me its just grab on and steer into a general direction. defenders come flying to the ball with wreckless abandon, offenders come to a pile to gain an advantage in yards. So if I saw an offender grab and push, I would be all for it.

I've stated since seeing Pro Tak I like the idea, just wish their was more of an organic look and feel to it, and some violence.

Lendale needs to do some rope drills, he's running a little high through the hole and It would be nice to see more of a cut than a turn. The tackle on him is not too unbelievable IMO, he should not be at full speed at the point, especially after he makes a "cut".

Also what is the frequency of the the huge gang tackles compared to the frequency in real NFL football?

The Lendale White tackle looked a little off as all of his momentum was stopped by a tackle from the side, but everything else looked great. Can't wait for August.

It is because of the angle he took to the tackle. No way Landry stops all 235lbs. (yeah right, lol) at that angle. White would just fall into the endzone.

Ian says it's being tuned so all's good.
