Scott Summers is CLEARLY The class of the Marvel Universe.
He exhibits leadership skills that are unmatched.
He is gave two of the most powerful women in the Marvel Universe "the business"

I should mention also, he saved the day in the original X-Men movie (I wont spoil his brilliance in the Wolverin movie for those who havent seen it)

Why isnt there a X-Men Orgins: Cyclops in the making? jealousy, thats why.....

Storm ghost rides the wind, how is that not cool man? Calling down lightning to fry whatever is in your path isn't cool? Man, I wish we could go out side and play but it's pouring down out there, oh wait, Storm can you do us a solid? She can see in the dark and is totally immune any extreme weather. Hurricane Katrina fears Storm.

Not only that, but she has her stuff in complete control, unlike the boy scout there who can't even properly enjoy a good 3-d movie. Sorry Scott, they don't make ruby quartz 3-D glasses. Have fun watching Monsters vs. Aliens in various shades of red. Bitch.

Yeah. We should make a "Dazzler Appreciation Thread" too so we can celebrate all the lamest X-Men. That said, every supergroup needs a levelheaded, unexciting leader and Cyclops is that guy for the X-Men. But that doesn't mean we have to appreciate him. Just like every kid wanted to be Raphael and nobody wanted to be Leonardo, such is the case with the debate between the Wolverines and Cyclopses of the world.

I would have offered up Angel as another example of lameness, but he actually totally redeemed himself and became kickass as Archangel.

You know if he goes and sees a movie, Jean is going to go with him. Wolvie is going to tag along to get close to Jean and then it's just downhill from there. Scott's the born leader so he's gonna be the one in charge of holding the popcorn. Can you imagine if Wolvie reaches for some popcorn and accidentally lets his claws slip? Scott's business is toast.
