If you haven't downloaded the patch, I think your RTTS will be OK(just skip training in September). You will only have problems if you try to continue a RTTS once you have downloaded the patch.

To the store, you can get $5 for it. That is better than nothing. I understand that people are upset, but you guys act like they did this on purpose. Every game I have ever played and that goes back to Kaboom on the Atari 2600 has had bugs. Every game. It is apart of the life of a video gamer. You buy a game I can guarantee you there will be bugs in it.

It's official. I suck at this game. Very tough since I haven't played the Show series since the 07 series. Doing my RTTS, I'm hitting .113 through the first 20 games of spring training. I'm terrible, lol.

Dont take it personal Scotdau does this when hes upset .
Hes taking his Sharks getting gutted by the Mighty (sp) Ducks pretty hard .
Back on subject its May and I havent started my season yet
Maybe hearing everyone complaining has affected my enjoyment for the game or Im just weak willed .
Was thinking of getting 2k9 mlb to better appreciate the show09

Yeah laugh now, because I know one thing for sure the Dodgers will choke again! Also, they will do the best they can. I don't think the lineup bug is easy to fix.

Reinstall it all after deleting all the old files.

Okay, I've been away from this forum for awhile and don't have time to wade through all the post patch impressions, but can someone explain to me exactly what the patch F's up in terms of previously saved game files??

I have a RTTS saved, a few rosters, my slider settings and think that's it. Should I delete all of the above first, download the patch and then start from scratch on everything, or is some of the prexisting saves okay to leave??? After installing the patch and then restarting an RTTS, will these issues caused by the patch not happen??

                        Thanks guys

It's almost like it didn't even go through a testing phase. I know there are deadlines to meet and alot people are enjoying the game as is but for me and a few others it's very hard to play a game that not true to the real thing and the only reason it's not is from lackof effort or carelessness on there qa team and no i don't blame Russell for this as he can only do so much. I assure you that in the future i will not buy this game until i know for certin that it will be playable, which right now for me it's not, well without having to do a bunch of work arounds and all Some advice for next year if you have to delay it to make it right then please do so, as we'll all be happier in the end.
I agree 100% I'm playing RTTS and I don't see anything different still has base running issues and fielding issues and the crash. It's been 3 months since this game came out and I can't say that they really fixed anything. I'm with you I won't buy this game next year.

I was up to date sunday but was not able to follow the thread all week. I just have one question. Have the Yankee games that were supposed to be day games been switched to day games on the new schedule?

What exactly were the baserunning and fielding issues? I have played 4 seasons of RTTS and am not sure I know what you are talking about.

The Sept. crash blows, but they gave us a fix for that, even without the patch.

Certainly haven't seen anything you have described that would keep me from purchasing the game. But to each their own I guess.
