Since it looks like you more or less have a playoff spot, who would you want to play in the first round (reasonably)?

The Western Conference looks downright scary...I wouldn't wanna face anyone.

I wonder if Phoenix or Los Angeles are similar to real life?
BTW, I agree with your sig onlybygrace.

I think Phoenix. Although Khabibulin has been tough on me, I think that is the team I would be most comfortable against right now. Chicago kills me with Kane, Toews and Havlat. If I drop to 6th, I would like to see Colorado win the division, so I could play them.

Yeah, things would be alot easier in the East, playing teams like the Islanders and Thrashers. Although Jersey and Washington look good this year.

WINGS LOSE AGAIN; STILL CLINCH PLAYOFF SPOT

Summary - Detroit has picked a bad time to start losing. Despite still clinching a playoff spot with their 3-1 loss to Vancouver, the Wings fell from 5th to 7th in the West, and all but assured themselves they'd start the playoffs on the road. Ryan Kesler scored two goals for Vancouver and Dustin Byfuglien continued to dominate Detroit with a goal and two helpers.

Summary - Henrik Zetterberg scored twice, including the OT winner, and set up two others as Detroit beat Vancouver 4-3 in overtime. Detroit had a 2-0 lead after the first period until the Sedin twins tied it heading into the third. Zetterbergs first goal put Detroit ahead with about 8:00 left. Mats Sundin tied the game with 0.2 seconds left to force OT, before Zetterberg won it on a powerplay goal.
