The BIGS 2: What's Hot and What's Not

This summer, gamers will have the chance to grab 2K's second iteration of its arcade baseball title, The Bigs. The sequel has been getting some media attention as of late, so here is how it is doing so far.

I only played the demo and never tried the Home Run Pinball mode. I'd like to give this one a rent and see how good/bad it really is.

This game really isn't intended to appease the majority of people that are on these boards. It will never really be a hit with our crowd.

Having said that, I had a great time with the last game for about a week. I mean a truly great time. But I got bored of it rather quickly.

I played it for quite a while. I think a good sports game is a good sports game though.

I think this game will be a blast, and a great distraction from the sim baseball games. I like the fact that they didn't just spit out a sequel in a year, but instead took two years develop it. They added a season mode, which is nice as well. But where the first game really shined was in multi player. It was so much fun to talk trash and hit bombs, that I can't wait for Bigs 2 to come out.

I enjoyed it, just got kinda tired of the offline career mode they had. Looks like they have a season mode and a different career mode that should make the single player aspect more deep.

              Fun game though!

What's sad I this game may be as good or better than 2k's other option... Just like last time around.

Considering this is the only Player Career baseball game for the 360, and 2K refuses to bring Power Pros to the 360....

The first was good. I really liked HR pinball,it was a bit flawed but I still found it really fun. This will be rental though. It's nice to have a full season mode this time so it'll last but when you're releasing it in the middle of the season it's almost impossible to catch up to the real one without simming. Can't be worse than 2K9 but I'm not buying a baseball game in the middle of the season when I can't catch up,the real season coming to an end or in the playoffs when I'm only up to June isn't good.

the bigs was a great game. but i bought it at 9.99. at 59.99 it probably isn't. home run pinball was cool to me. i really liked it.

the surprising thing was it actually played a technically sound game of baseball considering its main appeal.

i hope this one is good. i will be buying it when the price drops to the 29 to 39 range.
