Smh. Some one seriously needs to sticky that there are no technical fouls in this game (as far as getting "T'd up") and that our chances of seeing them in the future are slim to NONE.

The NBA has not and most likely will not allow it for any future basketball game using the NBA license.

Same goes for flagrant fouls.

2K needs to fix this. Technicals is a part of basketball.

They are in the game. I get them all the time.

What you have to do is after a foul is called on your player, or after you think you got fouled on a play, go up to the closest ref.

Then you push the right analog stick up and then back down real fast and your man will raise his arms up and down in disgust right in front of the ref.

I usually have to do this three times over the coarse of the game to get a tech.

But I've also done it after one time before with Rasheed Wallace. I've also tried many times with Kobe and it never works.

So I think it may be dependent on the player.

I forgot in which 2K game (maybe it was last-gen Xbox 2k6?), but if you called a time-out when you had none, you got a technical. Think Chris Webber. I think the reason they took that out is that when playing online you can keep repeating this since you would get the ball back-- pretty much to use when you're getting owned/cheesed on, or just when you want to annoy the heck out of the other player.

I tried it with the refs with Ron Artest but it only seemed to work when I was at the sidelines during an away game...

Yeah one time i used the left trigger to box out w/ Artest and i got a flagrant and an ejection.
