Yeah I've had it pre-ordered for a long time now. No since in buying it now, when you can just buy it when it comes out.

Question for a dev if you can answer this, what happens to the other players while there are 9 guys pushing the pile? What will they be doing since they will not be able to get into the pile?

Has this been discussed???

I was thinking the pile might not last that long once 9 players have met each other. But I just don't want to see any zombies running around or some type of barrier to keep other players from trying to make a play.

It just seems flawed after 9 players are pushing the pile. What happens when another player wants to jump in but can't?

Well well, looking surprisingly good EA. I must say, I am very impressed at the quality of lighting/shading of M10. It really has taken a big step forward. That broncos screen really has that HDR effect to it. And the animations and tackles are shaping up nicely. Really hoping you guys come through this year.

Anyone else notice they got the visor clips in now?

Well if its anything like real life..the player should either be down or the play should at least be already blown dead before the 10th man reaches..

Yeah thats what I was thinking. Your probably right. The pile will probably be blown dead or the pile will fall before the 10th man is reaches.

Nah, not at all.

One thing that Ian can learn from Romo is don't choke when it comes to crunch time!!! So far he's been doing great but there are still a couple months left!!!

It looked good, but I kinda cringed at all the 7+ man gang-tackles. I sincerely hope that this doesn't happen every play. It's creating the myth that backs like Brandon Jacobs effortlessly wrestle entire platoons of guys. If you actually look at BJ highlights, he is taken down by 2-3 guys most of the time - even in his best runs. It's only occasionally that he can wrestle a platoon of guys.

If you asked me if this was Madden or real life i'd pick real life 100 out of 100 times.

If you asked that question 2 years ago . No madden has looked like 09/10. All next gen games were more cartoony and over the top. Also, like the CD people said, they could hardly believe that the above picture was even possible in Madden, at least not for M10. I could be sold that someone used photoshop or something if I had not sceen pro-tak.

Since the video I think was on Rookie probably, on the higher difficulties, the pile would probably go down before 9 guys got involved. Full 9-man piles would probably be really rare. At least, that's what I would assume would happen. Like Ian said in the video, the refs would blow the whistle to stop the play if the ballcarrier wasn't going down.

Good point about wondering what happens if more than 9 people rush to the pile though. I'm curious to know what would happen in that situation too.

Yeah cause I'm like I know its rare but, if the pile can still move forward after 9 players have hit the pile then they gotta fall almost immediately so that other players wouldn't get involved (which they can't).

Is anyone else upset by the screen shot of the Broncos gang tackling McGahee? I though Ian wanted sim game play. When was the last time we saw the Broncos D swarm around a player and make a stop in the running game? []

Its probably on rookie/pro so its probably a bit easy to get big gang tackles to happen and have them happen less often in all pro or all madden. Thats what I'm hoping for.

The video looks good Ian.. But can we do something about the sock length?! Socks need to be longer! It just enhances the players and realism so much! We see it on Sundays, why not in Madden???
