Fighters have dif styles, so you cant say its a slug feast when the two fighters avalible are doin wat they do in real life....They attack....so whether your controlling Manny or Hatton, the Cpu is going to smoother you....

The presentation seem like it not the full becuz how its cut off...if thats how it really is then shame on EA

They already made adjustments from the demo version...
I don't even see the issue with the A.I. in the demo other than it being a little too easy.

Its a subtle but obvious difference in my opinion between fighting the A.I. manny and A.I. Pacquiao.
Hatton is pure pressure, you have to use the step back effectively (which is done this year by just flicking the left stick back, no need to double tap.)

Pacquiao applies pressure as well but also likes stepping back and throwing flurries. And definitely doesn't smother you as much as Hatton does.

Also, its silly to assume that its going to be different in the retail version unless someone from the Dev team or who went to community day says its different. Until then you should assume its the same.

I'm still going to buy the game but isnt that what a demo is for....to demonstrate the game. Ive decided to buy and not buy plenty of games based off of the demo. Why should I have to rent the game and spend my money to judge a game.
I dont know man. I'm comparing it to what we've seen in previous fight nights. The presentation murders all past versions.

        But...

I really like the progression that FNR4 has made. I know a lot of people are upset over mapping punching to the Analog stick but I really like it. I enjoyed playing the demo and not being able to throw accurate punches right away. I feel like this will help out a lot in career mode. As I get better on the sticks my created boxer will get better. I don't want to start my career up and already be able to throw every punch with 100% accuracy.

There are some annoying things like the Camera which can be very disorienting at times and the feeling like the ring is too small although the game felt a lot different when I fought as Hatton. When I was Pacman, Ricky kept walking forward which we all know is what he does in real life. With only 2 boxers available for the demo I will need to see how counter punchers fight to make sure that there is some kind of unique style to them. As many have said, you can throw a ridiculous amount of punches but I'll wait until the retail version drops to see how slider tweaking can affect that.

I love the new punching engine. When I could get off my intended punches I thought they felt very smooth. When you deliver a 3 or 4 punch combination it looks really good and not over the top. The punches that don't land flush are done very well. With a slowed down pace this game will be very fun.
Same here. Once I got my hands on the demo though, I was trippin. I'm saying to myself, sheeeiiiiit, folks is going crazy this **** is beast. I'm just imagining the full version now, **** is going to be super sickmade>

          loving the demo

-love the randomness of the point deductions. in some matches i got away with several headbutts before a deduction. just had a point that after one, i was given a deduction.

The pop on the punches are perfect IMO, I hope they didnt change it too much...dont need the punches sounding like hammers....

I'm ready for the retail version. I love the game, but the difficulty is kinda booty. UFC will keep me plenty occupied until then.

I think some people just don't understand the purpose of a game demo and how it differs from the final product in many respects. You're always going to get an easy difficulty setting for accessibility, trimmed presentation, and little to no access to sliders and other options. Hardcore sports gamers who expect total realism are a minority in the market, and the demo is not geared toward them. EA, like any other company, wants to maximize returns on their investment and you don't do that by alienating the majority of your potential consumer base with overly difficult demos. The hardcore crowd will have every opportunity to tweak the game to their liking (for those that are reasonable in their expectations). No sports game will ever be a total sim. You want total realism? Go down to the local gym and get in the ring.

UFC Undisputed 2009 allowed you to adjust the difficulty in the demo which really helped you get a good feel of the game on different settings. I think this type of thing should become the norm in sports demos.

I think it all sounds good, but doesn't look necessarily good. Some of the punches impact just seem very lame. Whether thats sound or visual or some combination of the two, Im not exactly sure.

look at the replays, the punches def have impact....just like real life, you dont know how hard the hit is untill you see it in slow motion

I don't what you want, this game isn't Streetfighter. Just like real boxing most of the punches aren't going to look like Punchout.

Loved the demo. My only gripe is that I feel the boxers kind of lumber in and out of range of each other. I wish the boxers moved a little faster and more fluidly around the ring. i just got the demo yesterday. Is there a button you can hold down to make the boxers move faster?

I really like the fact that in UFC if you push in the left stick your player moves a lot faster.

EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

                              Quick question:
Are people who ordered from gamestop.com still getting a code the next day?

look man, either respect my opinion or not. I know this isn't street fighter or punchout! Why come at me with some ridiculous perspective. I don't like how the impact of the punches looks/feels. Many people have commented on the fact that it's like slap boxing or pity pat. Hence, the developer noting that in the final build the impact of punches has been improved. Why must it be that if someone doesn't see it the way you do, it has to be demeaned in some way.
