I wonder what would happen if David Ortiz was running this game again.

Pass blocking has been IMPROVED!!! now Lineman look and feel like they are playing patty cake with the defensive line rather than actually blocking.

Create a concession stand.

Superstar mode first person view !!!!

Build a fan 2.0

Rocket catch 1.1 as requested by the guys at the Madden competition. Now you can freeze the db with your mad stick skills.

If David Ortiz was still the Senior Producer, Madden wouldn't have made the leap it made in Madden 09, and it would probably still be the same Madden every year.

Hopefully this thread isn't locked because you're talking about a former developer at EA Sports.

i actually wouldn't mind seeing this type again on madden.

Personally, mostly just for QB play though. It'll be like a rocket launcher in CoD4... except your rocketing passes.

I would really hate trying to pass with lineman breathing down my neck... I hope there is some sort of Fallout 3 interface with this feature, where the play just slows down or stops and you can make your pass... I cannot see this working.

probably won't.

but considereing the 2k series started working on it... you can't argue it did have some unique potential. Just, finding that balance was hard to control on a pad. Maybe after Sony unveil their secret motion sensor controllers like the wii.... maybe.

I am super glad Ortiz is gone.He was the lead dog in playing the EA hype machine,and did anyone else get tired of seeing him ALWAYS in a madden video everytime something came out???

I personally hated 2k's attempt at it. Maybe it was more with me sucking, but I remember hating it.
