Couldn't get rights to both the Thunderbirds and the Blue Angels in time. Hoping to have a bunch of them next year as well as other aircraft like stealth bombers, choppers, and the like.

I think the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds are like big rivals too btw...

Only because they both think they're the best.

It's actually more of a service branch thing (USN v. USAF). I'm sure the Navy guys would jump at the chance knowing the Airforce guys got in though.

I used to be an avionics technician for F-18's (what the Blue Angels fly) and have done my fair share of maintenance on Blue Angels, and worked with Blue Angel pilots. They'd eat up the attention, believe me...lol

I told a friend of mine from Ireland who's a big football fan that Madden was getting F-16s and his response was, "WTF, the plane?! WHY!?"

It's part of the new "Thunderbird" offense. You're RB and TE provide cover fire, your OL softens the interior defenses, and then your QB bombs the **** out the enemy territory using his WRs. Easy 6.

Of course, there is the concern of "cheesers" ruining this...

If you watch this video, you will notice that after the players run out the tunnels... the thunder birds fly by the stadium. neat huh? It was cool back in 04 when I saw it for the first time.

oh wow, I had no idea this was in 2k5. I guess they better get it out of Madden. After all, there's no point in improving upon something once it's been done. Time to get back to the drawing board guys
