Face it, Brady is a franchise QB, a top 2-3 QB that can carry a team wherever he goes. He has more of an effect on a team than Moss would have, in most cases.
    WHAT?!!?

And you base this fantasy on WHAT? Cassell already PROVED that Brady's big numbers could be replaced by a HIGH SCHOOL QUARTERBACK.

    Come on man...

Re: Madden NFL 10 Ratings: Top 10 by Position (ESPN Videogames)

There are no more viable arguments against Tom Brady. His ugly yellow jacket was already made years ago, it's just sitting in Canton waiting for him to put it on. It's a wrap. When he retires, set your watches to 5 years from that date, tune into ESPN, and you'll see him wearing that disgusting blazer.

Only a terrible ***** could possibly try to discredit a man that's accomplished everything but a 4th Super Bowl ring, which he would've gotten had the Patriots coaching staff not devised one of the dumbest offensive gameplans ever, or if the defense full of Pro Bowlers, All-Pro's and future HOF'ers didn't decide to meltdown 5 times on one drive. And he ran an offense for 3 championship wins never having a single great WR on those title teams. Antwan Smith as the #1 back in two of them, lol. I could see if the man was a caretaker QB like Trent Dilfer, but the man was making clutch throws constantly. His highlight films are full of them. It got to the point that when it was a clutch situation and he dropped back you could pretty much guarantee that it was going to be on the money.

Remember how he sliced up that Panther defense in Super Bowl 38? He also set the Super Bowl record for completions that day (32). And that was against a Panther defense that at the time was one of the best in football. He cut those boys up like chopped liver.

The man is greatness personified, and he and Peyton Manning defined this era the same way Montana and Marino defined their's. A person can argue all day long that Brady wasn't this or that (and it's laughable at this point... it actually has been for years really), but his stats, wins and great moments say otherwise. That legacy has been recorded, it can't be denied and it won't be except by haters who refuse to accept reality and give an all-time great player his proper respect.

And Brady has already proved that he can carry WRs like Branch, Patten, Brown, Stallworth, Gaffney, and Caldwell throughout his career and still put up all star numbers. As for Cassell, I'm going to hold off on making a statement on him - maybe he's the real deal - we'll just have to see this season if he is just a 'high school quarterback' or a legit #1 starter in the league.

i don't get the flak, White is a good WR(why didn't he catch all of Mike Vick's passes!!!! ),but I mean why would you compare his numbers to an over the hill T.O's numbers?

I'll take T.O in his prime over White any day.

Brady threw 50 TD passes with that offense. Cassel threw 21. That's hardly a replacement. I wouldn't expect Cassel to do any better than that considering he was making his first starts, however. He had a solid year, but he was no Tom Brady, not even the second year Tom Brady as far as I'm concerned.

A fairly valid point. Cassell put up numbers comparable to Brady before Moss. Brady is a good QB and when he got his new toy aka Moss he put up better numbers then before. Would Brady/Manning be better on another team IDK. No one does. My only beef is that Brady's arm strength currently overrated. It needs to be lowered to 90-92.

Another thing I would like to add right now is Manning could have put up better numbers during his record breaking season. There were several games that they were called off and stopped throwing the ball. How many times during Brady's record breaking season did we see him passing the ball when they were up by 30+ points?

Right now Roddy White is a better WR then TO...deal with it.

That's not the issue though. I thought it was who should be better now...in terms of ratings.

True, but it was fun to watch.

As for Brady's ratings, i would go 89 power, 96 short, 93 medium, 90 deep, and his speed could go down by about 3-4 points.

I just wished that bcv would carry more weight. if your running back doesn't have high rating he should have hard time with cutback lanes. same for punt and kick returners, wr ,te and some safeties.

as far as westbrook speed goes when he's not hurt their is dbs that can't cover him please. don't hate
