Madden Commentary:Hammond needs to go!

In real life I have enjoyed Tom Hammond's commentary,especially when he was teamed with Snapper Jones for NBA games on NBC......

But on Madden '09, he was real robotic,and did too much EA advertising. I felt Chris Collinsworth was spot on,just needed more lines because he got repetitive after awhile.

On the Cowboys Eagles clip on IGN, Hammond sounds no better.I thought I saw somewhere it said the two guys recorded their lines together,but it doesn't sound like Hammond has changed.He is still very robotic and his lines sound forced. I think it's time to replace Hammond.I know alot of my O.S brotheren agree....so who would u like to see take his place? i vote Joh Madden!!!

Once Hammond is done his recording for the game and the Madden team plays it back I know you guys aren't like "MAN THIS GUY IS GOOD...SOUNDS LIKE HE IS FLOWING WITH THE GAME"....

I really want to know how this dude is still in the game...lol

Ya He just sounds so fake it ruins part of the game for me. I can block it out & deal with it, but he sounds so unnatural(?) it's sad.

Madden isn't a play by play guy and shouldn't be in the poll

My vote goes for Al Michaels. Having him do the play by play would make Madden feel more like it did back in its golden days.

he's terrible, he's got to go. THE COWBOYS will kick... THE COWBOYS have scored. also, theres not enough commentary. you should hear commentary 80% of the time your'e playing the game. also, crowd noise is basicly nonexistant in the cowboy eagle vid

I hate to say this,but even the freakin' RADIO ANNOUNCER GUY had more emotion than Hammond.

I think that what we heard in that Eagles vs. Cowboys video wasn't newly recorded material.
