I don't get why theyve struggled to come up with something harder.

I get they don't want to make it too hard because in the NFL kickers rarely miss.

But something like this.

The less power a kicker has the quicker the meter fills up.

The less accuracy the kicker has the skinnier the bar is in the middle which will make you have to push the analog stick straight up in between the lines where more accurate kickers you have more margin for error.

@Workinonit24 yep, known. No pro-tak steering in the build for that video. But pro mode's pocket will be 'slightly' exaggerated in final...

That confirms that:
a) As stated earlier it is a 2 week old build (no Pro Tak enabled)
b) It was on Pro mode

well, I mean truthfully, every team can say that about their logo. I was looking for something more like what the other guy said about it pointing to their bench or something. I thought maybe it pointed towards Dallas or something like that.

They're making the players slower this year, which is unfortunate because the NFL is an incredibly fast game and I think slowing down Madden will only make it more unrealistic.

I didnt see the momentum or noticable change in accellaration either. Also, players flipped directions and turned on a dime. This has been such a downer to madden for me. I hope some form of momentum gets added in. Variable speed seems obvious, but I doubt we get it.

What about in the first play with westbrook? Did you see the cut, plant and then explosion to the second level with a well respected physics based tackle?

The running animation does look smoother in my opinion and Ian said this was a vid from 2 weeks ago so, that might explain some things that are not as polished as well as we would like them to be.

No, I was trying on your momma's after I... oh, nevermind. Yeah, I most definitely am complaining about an ad before the game. Though most games have some type of sponsor that's displayed before a NFL game starts, I don't like the ad staring me in the face as I make the coin toss. That's blatant advertising, not representing a NFL game. As a consumer you should not have to be exposed to blatant advertising on a product for which you paid.

It's the sort of thing that drives you crazy the 100th time you hear it.

well Snickers' whole new ad campaign annoys me anyway but i gotta put up with those "Get Dunked on by Patrick Chewing" commercials everytime i watch an NBA game. I just think Snickers' new chompion, patrick chewing, etc. stuff is really lame to begin with but it doesnt bother me too much that its in there before the coint toss. You know how you get around it? Press X and skip straight to the coin toss... problem solved.

If you read the blog on menu options. You would know by now that you will have speed sliders to adjust the speed of the game to your liking.

Compared with some of the ideas for ads in games that I've heard, this is tame. You'd be shocked what kind of ads publishers are suggesting to put in their games. It's ridiculous. Luckily they've not put them in yet.

I don't really have a problem with having a snickers logo there, not sure what the big to-do is since that's pretty similar to commonplace ads in an NFL broadcast. What I do mind is Hammonds horrible reading of "BE A CHOMPION".

In the Game-Trailers video at 1:55 mark I noticed the CB on the far left of the screen bite on the post route run by the slot Wr. Why did he try to go with the post play when he's guarding the outside Wr?

a your mom joke? You should try out for that Wilmer Valderrama show. Like i said in my last post, if the ad bothers you that much, press X and skip over it straight to the coin toss.

And puhlease, blatant advertisement and not representing a NFL game. Do you watch the NFL on tv? How many ads do they do after commercial breaks or tv show ads that pop up in between plays that commentators have to promote? The NFL and pro sports in general try to squeeze in ads anywhere they can.
