now the new excuse is "the build was weeks ago with pro tek turned off"(which is a stupid thing to release giving people ammo to call out the game)quit frankly I'm sick of the excuses, you people want take my word for it I'll let the mediocrity of madden 10 speak for me and itself.

How is it an excuse when that's what Ian has said?

Also, judging by your post history, you were never that interested in the game to begin with so I don't see what you were expecting with this vid...

because with these types of people if you present a fact it is an excuse or a rumor, then they present their opinion and it is fact, there is no arguing against their "facts"...

Is protak responsible for wr/db jostling? If it is than this vid is missing 2 major components to the final game imo. That jostling is supposed to help level the playing field so slower but talented dbs can cover a fast wr who is otherwise below avg. Why would ea release this as the first gameplay footage if it is missing such crucial pieces?

Exactly, I agree with you 100%. As i said i like the video, but there are some flaws in it. I believe the final game will look like this or very similar to it, for me that's not a terrible thing because i liked 09, however i can see why the people that did not are and will be upset.

Yeah everyone agrees that there are flaws in the vid.

Also again, the vid is on pro, and Ian many of times has said that the sim changes will be much more noticeable on all-pro/all-madden so that they wont alienate the casual fans. With that, the fact that the vid was cut a lot, and the fact that the game is being worked on, I'm pretty sure that the game will look better when we get it in our hands on realese day and play it on the higher diffiuculty levels.

joystiq post an opinion EA get mad like we the consumers haven't waisted $300 over the last 5 yrs on Madden football games only to have the same results yr in and yr out. This is not Ian fault by no means( he is new to this so I don't hold him accountable at all and madden 09 was a good game), but what do you expect. If I keep treating my wife like crap, eventually she will get tired and want me to change or she's leaving its as simple as that. EA new developement crew have made great strides towards making madden a great game, maybe some people don't see it that way and their opinion is valid in that manner.

I personally did not like 09 very much. Im not a 2k5 fanboy-Madden ps2 was my style. I just think its was crazy for EA to release a vid without its biggest changes to gameplay. Given EAs history of exaggerating its features, I can see why alot of people have suddenly got very skeptical again. This joystiq interview has done nothing to calm my nerves either.

Personally, I don't care who it came from, but saying it is an early build is pretty much an excuse, in my opinion. Simply because the community day guys said that the game looked better when they played the game, to me it was EA's responsibility to release the best and most up to date video. Especially since it was the first video being released and more importantly all the anticipation that was created the months and weeks leading up to it.

Why create a world premiere video with a dated version of the game when they are more than capable of producing video with the most recent version of the it, considering the unlimited access that they have to the game.

Like I said I'm not dissapointed, I liked what I seen and I will be buying madden 10 in August, however I more than understand some peoples frustration with this game and whats been shown thus far.

Here a question, why release old footage with pro tec turned off? that's makes no since what so ever. so please, the excuses are getting old. this game well not improve to much point blink until they redo this whole engine. sorry if you cant take me being real. but I guess the truth hurts. my history is justify by the history of Madden so called "Next Gen" being the crap that it is.
