Besides we got johnson and everette so we good....Panthers are gonna be beasty in madden 2010 and real life especially online and in co Op who can stop triple trouble Will Jon N Smith!! and Gross harris Beason

Yeah, I just signed up and I'm surprised at the amount of Panthers fans on here. I wish they could get Smitty to play in the game just like he does in real life, he would be unstoppable!

I hope they have the Default Madden Cam for the Online and Offline Co-op. That would kill me if they didnt. I dont even want to attempt to play defense with the camera facing the wrong way. Innovation is not always a good thing.

Yeah, I just signed up and I'm surprised at the amount of Panthers fans on here. I wish they could get Smitty to play in the game just like he does in real life, he would be unstoppable!

I agree a thousand percent. I would surely hope the devs have realized this and included an option for default camera angles or else I will be really disappointed. It will ruin a potentially great feature.

I love the cam.

Back in the Front Page Sports FB days we always set the cam to be behind whatever player we were. So this cam is a long time coming for some of us. Hopefully there is the default for those that dont wont to play that way.

Online Co-op Question

In the video on the OS homepage, Ian basically confirms online franchise...and it is also confirmed that online co-op is possible. My question...Do you think online co-op franchise is possible? This is one area that myself and one of my college buddies have been missing for years. While playing against each other is fun, there was nothing like taking the Steelers to the promised land the year we played a co-op franchise. There were so many games where we were both instrumental in securing the win and so much finger pointing when one of us blew a coverage or assignment to give up the big play. I REALLY HOPE Madden 10 is going to be the Madden we've been clamoring for on next gen since the beginning.

I am sure coop and franchise mode will be done away from each other. Franchise mode will be done with one person on one team you choose. BTW there is has already been enough of these topics been done. Please do research before you post a thread please.

Nothing has been mentioned about this except the "slip up" that Ian made on the co-op video.

That was me.

I'm not sure where the Big Red Circle thing got confused with Co-Op, but Co-Op has nothing to do with that. The Big Red Circle is Madden's new ball-landing indicator. I saw this at CD as a "new feature", and I assumed you could turn it off. When I played the game and saw the hideous thing, I quickly looked for a turn-off option... none existed, and I think that's on purpose, unfortunately.

It's not a game-killer but it's an ugly eyesore that desperately needed a turn-off option. I realize that there are some that will find this useful, but there are others who will find it useless and ugly like myself. This is why a turn-off option should've been put in. You should never put a new thing in like this assuming everyone has the same issue, especially without a turn-off option for something that ugly. I thought they'd learned their lesson after the celebration square uproar, but I guess not.

yeah i agree with you 100% on the landing indicator. they definitely should have made it more subtle looking, probably something like in baseball games where the indicator is translucent and gets smaller as it approaches the ground.
