Only saw the first 2 so far, but I like in the 2nd one when he films the top TV showing the Packers/Bears pregame. The game showed both QBs warming up in a split screen view with their stats. I have not seen that yet. It looks like there might be a fair amount of variety in cutscenes. Well done EA.

lol...I think that's the same hyperactive cat from that other "so good you'll slap your mom" video.

I really dig the presentational touches this year. LOVE the game intro they panned to with the split screen QB matchup...nice touch. Also, it's amazing what just better camera cuts during play do for how realistic it looks.

Still on the fence about franchise presentation (NOT on the fence about the shows...lol), but in-game looks pretty sharp overall.

Also, loved what I saw on the kick return in video #4...realistic gathering! It was good to see the guy change direction and have to gather himself a bit. It's honestly the first time it really stood out to me in any of the running I've seen thus far, so hopefully the "feel" is there even more so.

Okay...now it's time to rest my eyes from that shaky camera work in those vids.

Thanks for posting those. Lots of good looking stuff. All the different pregame cutscenes look outstanding. I also liked the overlay with the fact about the Chargers, that's a nice little touch.

One minor gripe: I don't really understand the approach they took with the stat overlays. I mean, maybe they have other styles that we haven't seen yet, but so far they all look a little off to me. For example, there was one in the first vid that said "L. Tomlinson" and then underneath read "Rushed for 1110 yards on 292 carries in the 2008 season." In a real broadcast, you'd never see that. You would just see his name, with "2008 season" underneath, and then headings for attempts, yards, TD's, maybe yards per carry, etc., with the respective numbers underneath. Another example of an overlay that seems out-of-place comes after the interception in the same video, where it says "T. Romo" "Just threw his first interception for the day." Aside from the poor grammar (I believe that was mentioned by someone in another thread), that is definitely something you never see in the game. That is straight-up narration you will generally hear from the play-by-play guy, not something that goes into an overlay. It seems like another example of EA maybe trying to hard to differentiate themselves when TV braodcasts have had this nailed down right-on for years. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. This may seem like nitpicking to some, but I feel like it does take away from some of the TV broadcast authenticity of it. You don't see overlays like that on Sunday.
