I'm convinced that the TB rosters are just transitional. Case in point: my Coogs.

QB's

Default NCAA 09

10 TB roster

QB #9 6-0 170 So. 79 OVR
QB #15 6-2 215 Sr. 84 OVR
QB #7 6-1 205 Jr. 90 OVR

HB's

Default NCAA 09

TB 10 roster

HB #20 5-10 188 Fr. 81 OVR
HB #6 5-11 200 Jr. 83 OVR
HB #3 6-1 208 So. 77 OVR
HB #22 5-10 194 So. 72 OVR

See the pattern? Classes have been updated, OVR has changed, but the players are the same. This despite the fact that both QB #15 (Blake Joseph) and HB #29 (Terence Ganaway) already transfered out and last year's superfrosh and leading rusher HB #25 (Bryce Beall) is nowhere to be seen.

Going thru the remainder of our roster, I found the same pattern at every position. Either EA is completely freaked out by Keller's lawsuit and has decided to let the rosters go to Hell, or this is just what the rosters usually look like in the final few weeks before the game goes gold.

I seem to recall reading that the rosters are the last thing finished before the game ships, so I'm inclined to believe the latter.
