Re: Official video of last night's GametrailerTV
Yeah, I'm not really a big online gamer. Everyone is excited over the Madden online leagues, but I really don't have the time to devote to that. Same with this. I'm mostly just looking for offline improvements.
I've said before that a really well done goalie mode could be one of the best features in any sports game, but so far it's been done pretty badly, almost an afterthought.Comment

Re: NHL 10 Trailer: E3 09 Debut
the bad news: the crowd just looks plain stupid, even though they ARE waving towels.
the good news: it looks like there might just be a NEW stanley cup victory movie!! Which is awesome, because that's so much fun to watch!!Comment

Re: Official video of last night's GametrailerTV
Wouldnt that make this years NHL 9 (8.5 + .5)? And to you, what constitutes a patch? Its a one year cycle, how much can you expect given the budget of this game? I think , on features alone, NHL09 was worthy of its namesake versus NHL08.Return of the MackComment

I agree.
P.S. Teen Wolf was an overrated basketball player and a jerk.

Re: Official video of last night's GametrailerTV
I kinda think that would be sweet if the stadium wasn't full every game. Say early in the season the team isn't that hot.... not that many fans will show up. In the other scenes (obviously playoffs cuz of the towels) you can see its definatley packed.Comment

Re: NHL 10 Trailer: E3 09 Debut
Didn't NHL2004 have this? I thought I remembered seeing half-empty buildings when your team was struggling.
But I also read that the NHL and PA didn't like this and started forcing game developers to have full houses.Comment

Re: NHL 10 Trailer: E3 09 Debut
I'd like to see this as well.
To me...it adds a nice touch of realism. And an incentive to try even harder to improve. It would be neat if you were on a bad losing skid, and your home crowd was thinning out with each loss. It would make things a little more satisfying once you started to turn things around, and your home crowd got bigger and more supportive.1969 NFL ChampionsComment
