Pasta dropped a little blurb at the end of his last update...

Looks like it's still firmly in NDA-land.

Why do you show something, but not allow anyone to talk about it? Its not like you are keeping something from EA by not talking about it, you just showed EA what you have. This is just going to hurt the game. If you had anything to talk about, you would allow everyone to talk about it so no one would talk about Madden.

NHL 09 also has an embargo until June 16...must be because these games are being shown behind closed doors.

Guys I honestly would not hold my breath on this game. The graphics looks good, the animations look top notch of course, and lastly the physics are top of its class from what we have seen.

BUT with all that said. It is very hard to program the little things that football games need to be realistic. Madden has been fighting with this for years and years and they are just getting to the point of it being atleast somewhat real. So I would not hold my breath on a first year release to have great gameplay.

Come on where is Backbreaker. Waiting over a year now. It's time to see more game play vids, features. I haven't purchased a Football game since 2k5. Been waiting for a Football game that's worth my hard earned $$$$. This was supposed to be it. I need some E3 info asap!

I ain't trying to hate onBB. But when they promise Stuff for E3 and then all of a sudden put a embargo on it at the last second. That means something is not right with the game. 2 years of promises broken. There Rep is very low with most people now. All I got to say is on the 15 when the embargo is lefted. They better have full game footage ready to to go and none of these 1 min defense slow motion crap films they been putting out the past 2 years. We want full blow live gameplay. Not pics not clips of it. We want the whole pie. We want to see this game in action. Because if that don't happen on the 15 th. Then by by BB company. We will see what kind of ammo BB team has left in there gun on the 15th. They better pull out every trick in the book to impress us on the day the embargo is lefted. Thats all I got to say.

You know the problem here...They told the world about the game too early. If they had been smarter and waited untill they were closer to whatever launch date they can realisticaly reach, then they'ed have avoided this anger/backlash/hatred over poor PR decisions.

Even if they hold out ANOTHER year, it'd be better to release a better game that the one demanded for right now.

I hear you. Lots of tough guy posturing over something they have no control of. My favorite is the threat of not buying a game over silly stuff. Of course, it's their choice to purchase or not but can you imagine the same lack of decorum in any other venue.

I was just adding why some people's frustration levels are too high concerning this game.

Agreed. I was really excited about this game, but not anymore. I still think the whole backbreaker cause is to show off the engine, and sell it to the highest bidder. When they said more info would come out about BB at E3, and nothing came out?!? Sealed the deal for me.

It's doubtful, but who knows. They sure won't release it along side Madden. Maybe around NFL Playoff time when everyone is sick of playing Madden.
