Re: Madden NFL 10 Online Franchise Discussion
I could have dealt with the other two, but the lack of draft classes kills this one for me. It appears that this mode was built off the previous online leagues feature instead of being constructed around Franchise.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 10 Online Franchise Discussion
its a work in progress.. but as long as you put in some house rules things should be fine. and the franchise is server-based so they will be able to make adjustments...for all you know u may wake up in a month and see a message from ian saying "salary cap is now in franchise".DIE HARD Knicks, Yankees, and Titans fan...

Re: Madden NFL 10 Online Franchise Discussion
If there are no contracts in online franchise, how will there be any free agents, other than players people cut. Does that mean a player stays on your team until you cut him or he retires.
Also, without contracts and a salary cap how will the CPU decide who to "sign", if that is the right word since there are no contracts.
I am not trying to be critical, I just don't have a clue as to how free agency, especially with CPU teams, would even work.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 10 Online Franchise Discussion
Yeah pastapadre said it in his Madden 10 impressions from E3. This is beyond bad now. I can deal with no cap and no trade logic, but no contracts? This is ridiculous to say the least. They might as well had left out online franchise this year and did the league thing again.
WTF EA. No cap,no trade logic and no contracts. How is this even a franchise?STR8 UP SIM MADDEN FRANCHISE (MNFL PS3). Commish.

I'm under the impression that the dev team realizes this and will update the mode accordingly. They'll have my money if this happens.Comment
