Ray Lewis intro - fun facts

Hopefully everyone saw this video...it was something I hinted at on Twitter a while back:

I saw a lot of feedback on this one so I figured I'd just respond real quick..

- FredEx (Freddie Mitchell) was actually the guy that motion captured this for us. We had honestly THIRTY FOUR different tries with other motion capture actors to get the dance right, and no one ever even came close. Quite a sight to see all us goofy nerd game designers out there trying to show the actors how to bend their knees or whatever. Luckily Freddie and Ray are cousins or something like that and he could do a much better version of it. We captured it way back in 2006 (when I think it was more accurate to what Ray did), but hell it's still pretty damn close IMO. It gets the point across at least. Maybe we can get Ray to swing by and capture it for real in our mocap suit for next year.
- There are 3 other camera angles that can play randomly here. I kind of dig this one just because of the 'all access' view, but there are also more typical broadcast camera views (as well as a view from that camera dude that's right in front of him).
- This is our only player-specific pre-game sequence. Lots of teams have cool specific stuff though - can't wait to start showing those soon. Also can't wait to add more pre-games in the future as well - Dawkins, Brees, etc.

Hope you guys dig this little slice of authenticity. As I alluded to on Twitter...I felt weird supporting the Ravens but I've always thought this intro was so amazingly cool that it was worth spending the extra bit of time getting it in.
