I do get it. I've been saying normally the rosters take 1-2 weeks to fix, these could take a month. I don't play online that much, mainly just offline dynasty. I understand the struggle this could make, but I guess EA thinks everyone only uses teams like Florida, USC, so they would get their rosters right, like who'd play with Idaho...

Re: NCAA 10 Rosters
I appreciate the response but dont understand how it happened in the first place it has never been an issue in past years, so what happened. Also are you aware of the players who seemingly dont exist and graduated players still there? Not to mention the insane ratings, 18 or 19 90+ players on certain teams. Also Can you comment if this has anything to do with the Keller lawsuit.
I would take playable rosters over TB personally. And I hate to say it but if these rosters stay Im gonna have to cancel my preorder and endure through NCAA 09 for another year.

Re: NCAA 10 Rosters
This crap probably ruins two games for me (and many others) since now my Madden draft classes will be even more jacked up now than they normally were.Click here to read my dynasty report:

Re: NCAA 10 Rosters
its appreciated that you guys are working to try and correct. in retrospect the teambuilder site should have been held off until the disc rosters were done completely.
the rosters are obviously a huge undertaking, i like some of the logic the new roster guy used in changing ratings and creating players from scratch that werent on the game last year, but there is a big list of players that didnt have anything changed so noone ever got around to editing them. this should have taken precedence over teambuilder.
not the everything is going to be okay answer we were hoping for, but thanx for addressing it and giving it to us straight, hope for the best i guess. i specifically want to point out that for south carolina, there are guys who werent on the game last year who and some freshmen are on the tb site as well, but only one player who was on the game last year got any editing at all.
thats like 1 out of 50 players probably. the most egregious mistake is a 40 ovr fs, who was a 5 star db in high school who has been on the game since ncaa 08 and never was given any defensive attributes on the game.
from my perspective that ruins regular online play even more than not having freshmen.Last edited by ActLikeYouCrow; 06-10-2009, 04:46 PM.Comment

Re: NCAA 10 Rosters
so Texas Tech will only have 58 total players on NCAA 10?
a lot of work ahead of me to get that corrected. luckily I don't really play online except OD, and you can use edited roster for OD.Comment

Re: NCAA 10 Rosters
And there it is. I was waiting for the major problem to come out sooner or later and here it is.
For the THIRD YEAR IN A ROW a major issue has slipped through the cracks! Once again, some cool new features are added to the game, but something else gets screwed in a major way. I hope the dev team never has to wonder why there is so much doubt every year.
At least this year it came out before the game is released. Hopefully it can be fixed prior to release.

Re: NCAA 10 Rosters
Hey guys... so we are aware of the issue with no (or few) freshmen on some teams in TeamBuilder and yes the same issues are found on the NCAA 10 disc. Over the past few days, one of our top priorities has been investigating solutions.
The TeamBuilder teams require some data on the disc to set Depth Charts for every team created before they can be used in a game. For example if you use the Cupcake roster as a starting point, NCAA 10 will give you a default Depth Chart for the Cupcakes for your TeamBuilder team (which you can edit in game). This means any changes we make could cause some problems with teams already created using TeamBuilder. So we need to ensure we are taking to proper steps to correct the issues.
We understand the concerns with how this can affect Dynasty mode and Online Games, so we are working hard to have a solution in place before launch on July 14th.

Having said that, I'm a little confused by this answer. Most would agree that the main issue with the teambuilder rosters isn't the lack of freshmen. It's the number of players who either shouldn't be there (because they graduated after last season, transferred, etc.) or the ones who should be present but are not.
To give a few specific examples of what I'm talking about, take a look at the TB roster for Houston. RE #53 and LT #74 should be gone, while starting HB #25 (last year's C-USA Frosh of the year) is nowhere to be found.
Will this still be the case if I look at the default rosters on the actual game disc a month from now? If so, why?Comment

Re: NCAA 10 Rosters
Yeah........I'd advise ya'll to figure out a solution (fix the rosters) to this before people lose their minds lol. I mean, I'm just speaking from if I were in your (EA NCAA 10 dev team) position. This is a grand opportunity to really implement that whole community interaction thing lol.Comment

Re: NCAA 10 Rosters
We cannot comment on any ongoing lawsuit.
And no it is not an ideal situation... I wanted to come on here and say we already have a solution in place; but it's taking longer to figure everything out then we expected.
Right now we are exploring every angle to get this addressed before release.Comment
