I think you need to get testers who know college football, not just those who know only the top rated teams. EA should pull fans from every team to get their feedback. I would go as far as to have at least one tester or game developer for every team, even if it was just a temporary job for like a week to fact check rosters and uniforms.

Re: NCAA Football 10 Rosters Issue
Vanderbilt's #6, Dalron Spead, has graduated. Others have posted other examples. There are several more for Vanderbilt, including missing freshmen, players who simply don't - and have never - existed, and at least 3 starters who aren't in the game. For teams whose rosters aren't perfect, they're atrocious, and that makes playing as our favorite team as annoying as a mosquito bite - tolerable, but you know something ain't right and it bugs the hell out of you.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 10 Rosters Issue
Once you log in, click on "Create Your School" in the upper right corner. Once that's loaded, click on "Roster" to the far right. Under "Choose roster template," you can select from the teams that are in the game - check your school's rosters out and compare them to any you might have available (spring prospectus, various pre-season magazines)Comment

Re: NCAA Football 10 Rosters Issue
*Teambuilder BETA* (Its just the beta) should be closed down so they can upload the correct roster file on to it and the game disc... problem solved.
people that created schools can recreate.. not a big deal at all, it's a freaking beta things will change.
The game disc rosters should be the MAINNNNN priority, it would be a total waste to ruin the game because an online application that 40% will not use.
50,000 created teams or 500,000+ unhappy customers?
Jobs are scarce now a days... do what's logical.
Yep...Not to mention the "50,000" user's problem is fixable and re-doable whereas the 500,000 user's problem is irreversible.
And again, it's not like all 50,000 of those create-a-school are legit anyway. I'd bet less than half of them will actually be used and about 10,000 of those users would not care if they had to re-do them for the sake of accurate rosters.Click here to read my dynasty report:

Re: NCAA Football 10 Rosters Issue
I don't think people realize just how much work goes into creating ratings for players. It's no easy task. It's a given the community will fix it. They do every year. RomanCeasar's rosters were spot on last year and he updated them every week. There are people that will fix them. Believe it.
But, yes, I agree with everyone else. End the Teambuilder "Beta" and come out with the real rosters on there. Put the real rosters on the game.
Say April Fools, we got y'all, and let's get on with this.
Sure the community could get the right names in the game, but I don't know if I'll trust the player ratings for every single school. Tons of reasearch goes into that and no one here has the time or resources to devote to that.Click here to read my dynasty report:

A group you're the first and only member of.
You seriously have to be one selfish person to want your precious create-a-school not to be touched for the sake of ruining rosters for literally everyone else. A create-a-school that could easily be re-done. The disc rosters can't.Click here to read my dynasty report:

Re: NCAA Football 10 Rosters Issue
It's actually a pretty damn good one..every year EA does something to kill this game, only to save it (barely keep it breathing) at the last minute..last year we couldn't edit all the rosters until they put out the patch, not to mention all the other problems with the game..if you're going to buy the exclusive rights and charge $60 for a game then it better be the best damn game in the world..or stop ruining football games and give someone else a chance to make one..

Re: NCAA Football 10 Rosters Issue
Seriously? Pot, meet kettle. Nice glass house, by the way.Really? Really? EA=fail! Did you just come up with this? Be honest with me! You are truly an original. What great insight. Thank you for clarifying this.
It are post from the mentally challenge(d) like this Pylon (definition in context - useless tool that sits there and does nothing), that makes me wonder whatever happened to natural selection. Darwin must be truly turning over in his grave. Your "type" should have died off years ago. Posts like the one I have quoted have multiplied like rabits since the EA developers have come to these boards. It has become like, a marching band of idiots pronouncing to the world that "EA sucks" and they want the developers to know it. I don't post often, however I wish people like this would just GROW A LUMP and just die.
Again, thanks for the original insight.
I do sincerely hope that EA can find a solution to this so that TeamBuilder isn't completely scrapped and correct rosters are available for all online and offline games. This was going to be the first time I bought this game on the first day, but now I'm going to have to wait and see what their solution is.Comment
