i have been buying ea college football games since the games on sega genesis and back then it really didnt matter but now with the technology that is available i expect nothing but the best from ea as they are the leader in sports games. I am being honest when i say its all good to have all these good graphics and game modes but if you can't even get the small stuff right, what does that really say about your dedication and ability to even create a real top flight game??? i might buy this game but if i don't it will be the first year in like 18 years i have not bought some college football game from electonic arts.

Thanks for taking the time to address the issue, but like many have already said it's more than just missing freshmen. For example: The Mississippi State roster has 11 players on it's roster that graduated last year...and 2 guys that were kicked off the team 2 springs ago. Also, there is only one freshman on the roster. I don't expect the rosters to be perfect, but EA has never put out rosters this bad. Thanks again for looking into the issue, and I really hope you guys can get this fixed before July 14th.

Since he's going to save the franchise, I'll just give his personal e-mail address out here on the forums and tell people that the "Savior of the NCAA Series" is taking e-mail suggestions for how to fix the roster issue and other things to squeeze into this year's game.

I think whats getting lost is the fact that they are at least trying to remedy the situation. It sucks that were in this situation, but whats done is done. Nothing more to do now than sit back and hope for the best.

But reading some of the comments in here is a great way to pass the time...

Yeah it's nice they are trying to fix the issue but it seems they are getting to be the company that is getting great at the "firefighting" of constant issues every year. They seriously need to take a step back and re-evaluate who they have and what type of system they have at head quarters.
They seem to be getting to complacent and frankly too comfortable with making crucial errors.
Hope they get it figured out for those that are purchasing it this year but with all due respect to them, screw the "At least they are trying to fix it". It's time they start performing like the major high profile company they are.

I can't understand why some people have this attitude. That's it's acceptable that EVERY year EA releases an NCAA game with MAJOR flaws. It would be one thing if a mistake like this happened once every five years, but it happens EVERY YEAR, at least on next-gen.

And I purchased a PS3 specifically to play my (used to be) favorite game, NCAA Football. Every year I curse the video game gods for coming up with Next Gen.

These two posts sum up what I think about all of this. There is no excuse to have the "wrong roster" (I still doubt there were two different ones made... what would be the point of spending time making two different rosters?) and instead of fixing the issue like they can, they don't want to upset people who made teams using teambuilders?

we the people ultimately pay these guys , so we should have a voice in what goes on in all fairness. i bet if everybody got together and didn't buy this sorry excuse for a college football game or the precious madden they would go in the hole ,but so many people will buy it and that's why year after year there is always some screw up by them because they know their is no other choice for us die-hard college fans to go with.

Trying to fix a mistake does not earn someone a big cookie or a Bozo button....my old man used to say "you don't get an atta-boy for doing your job"!

I have lost jobs in my life for FAR less than this kind of gross negligence regarding proofing / checking work. Hell, some of those same things would have probably gotten me promoted at EA under these kind of quality controls!

This is NOT that complicated of a problem to solve - simply reboot "TB-beta" with "TB-final" and fix the root cause - the tainted / "wrong" roster file. Thats the exact reason that you launch something like Team Builder with a "beta" label attached to it...so that in the event something unforeseen or unplanned goes wrong that it can be fixed without people being legitimately upset.

I agree, it says BETA so they are able to make changes to it if other issues arise, which is what has happened. Blow the teams away... Rosters >> CAS

I can see the future, I was saying these things back then people were laughing at me and calling me reindear names but now the majority of ppl who were dissing are now seeing what I saw in march
