You didn't. But your tone in the post (and other posts about EA's flaws) have give that impression (at least to me). We shouldn't be in a position to "hope for the best" and "what's done is done." Not EVERY year!

Sorry, I just can't believe this is happening, again.

So I should start bashing EA, slamming the devs, and basically throw a temper tantrum on a message board, in order to show that I'm disappointed that this is indeed an issue?

I don't like this situation anymore than the next person on this forum, but I just choose to remain optimistic that something will be done to remedy the situation. No amount of bashing, slamming, or insults is going to change whats been done nor the situation as it stands.

And if something isn't done, then I'll make decision then on whether or not the game is worth the price of admission.

WOW!! I just logged on Teambuilder to see for myself how wrong the rosters are. I'm doing UNC and using the 2009 UNC Media Guide. Like everyone's been saying: freshman aren't there, seniors are still there, wrong numbers and positions, etc.
There's also another problem. Please tell me they aren't restricting names because of supposed offensive language. There's a guard named Mike ****s on UNC. I can't put his last name... SWEET EA!!! I'm hoping this is only for Teambuilder.

I just finished the UNC rosters and there are 16 players that had the wrong numbers and positions. I'm now going to try to get all of the remaining players on the Media guide and see if they fit into the descriptions of those 16 wrong Teambuilder players.

I think what the devs are seeing is that their game isn't played by the casual football fan or the fan looking for an arcade version of college football. The vast majority of people who buy this game are your 17-35 year old men who are either currently in college or alumni or just huge college fans. They need to start developing a game for this age group and not the casual gamer that so many developers are jumping on these days. WE deserve a better college football game. PERIOD. We should get an ESPN like presentation, accurate rosters, accurate ratings, accurate gameplay and have everything MADDEN has but in a college form. Come on EA, realize who your major audience is and give them what they want.

I just got on registered at this site and I want to reinterate that the Disc Rosters far outweigh the Teambuilder teams I have made. I would rather not have teambuilder at all than to have completely inaccurrate team rosters on the game.

Hell Nebraska has one kid on the team from last years recruiting class yet we somhow managed to keep Marlon Lucky. This is freaking rediculous. I have already decided that I am done buying EA's NCAA Basketball and just stick with 2K8 since they better gameplay and their Legacy mode is significantly more indepth. EA sports is losing me one game at a time due to these horrendous mistakes.

The good thing is, the size of this thread in the short amount of time is definately showing the NCAA devs how important the rosters are to making this game worthwhile. Hopefully this gets fixed, i'm sure it will.

Wow, I'm actually not looking forward to NCAA this year. For years it was better than Madden and now EA is showing it almost no love. The rules are even right with the playclock only being 25 seconds. That's a sinb in making a sim game imo.

I still just don't understand how it was missed. Are the people that work for EA from USC, Florida, OU, and Texas only? You think that they would at least look at their favorite team and realize how jacked up their roster is. Pathetic

i know its only been a couple of days, and i havent read through this thread, but has the ea guy come back to check in on this thread or given any possible solution?

I know that they have come out here and acknowledged there is a roster problem, but guys i do not think that we have as much power or say so as you think we do. The people who post on these type of threads are geeks for college football. Me being one of them. If you notice, there are only about 40 of us who consistantly post and there are hardly ever 200 people on here at a time. I think you guys are overestimating how much pull you think we have. yes we brought the roster thing to their attention, but lets just say for arguements sake that ncaa 10 sells 1 milion copies. Well the people like us probably only make up between 5 and 10 percent of that number, MAYBE. I am sure that they will search for a solution, but they arent going to delay release or screw up any new features just because less than a hundred people on some forums are pissed. Thats just my opinion. So i think people should just chill out and if you dont like the game dont buy it.
