The problem is the DE's first move is going right at the OL they should be headed up field with they're first steps. This forces the OT's to fan out creating a pocket. Right now it seem like a QB can hike the ball and still run from sideline to sideline uneffect by the DE's. No DE in the world is going make it easy for the OL to block him but in 09 and in these videos it seems like that exactly what there still doing.

Im not looking for sacks and %'s, Im looking for realism in gameplay and the numbers will work out in the end, but when you have faulty gameplay, the experience isnt fun! This is the same thing that happened in 09, and here it is in 10 AGAIN!

Thanks for posting this. I don't know how to do a web screen capture. I thought the video was pretty good, had more positives than negatives, but WTF is up with this? It stood out like a sore thumb. ALL 4 d-lineman pancaked at the same time? I hated that in '09. I understand the point of the video was to show a pocket formation, but doesn't EA realize the lack of pass rush was a major concern. I can't believe there is a possibility (as show in that clip) of the D-line getting blown up again by O-lines.

Oh well, EA's track record and the lastest roster issue has lead me to play the game before dropping $60 on it, so I guess I'll see when I rent/borrow it.

I'm actually getting more and more excited after watching this video. It's not the best but at least it shows they're getting there. Few more tweeks or so NCAA11 could be great.

It says a lot about the current state of the NCAA franchise when people are saying that with the right tweaks NCAA 11 could be great before NCAA 10 even comes out.

Not to rain on your parade because it does look like a vast improvement ,but I felt the same way last year looking at the vids from 08 to 09.

this is whats funny...people on here say the animations look unnatural but how many people have played college football? or for that matter work for a video game company?
I have done neither so i clearly dont know what im doing but i do appreciate those who are doing their best to make a quality product. Im excited about the game and notice the new animations and think they will be great. July 14th im taking the day off to sit round all day til my thumbs hurt.

And there are still no new animations to facilitate sideline catches.

All they did was give you the ability to completely break free of the laws of physics to rocket up field on a dime.

Have you played All Pro Football 2K8?

In that game, there are actual animations where receivers drag their knees/feet or tap their toes to stay inbounds.

Or if they have enough room before they get out of bounds, they STOP, CUT, and then proceed upfield.

Not turn on a dime like a ballerina doing a pirouette and continue running full speed.

Yeah, and those catches are in NCAA. They were last year, hence why they weren't shown in the NEW ANIMATIONS video this thread is talking about.

First I am an adult! Just because your expectation are low dont make you a "grown up". I notice what it is I notice just like you notice what you notice. These forum are here to give feed back and I am giving mines. Unlike you who would rather come in here and take unnecessary shots at people. When you have something constructive to add then you talk to me about who is the "kid" is here!

I never said it was easy to make it look natural once again I am giving my opinion in hopes to make this game the best it can be. Im not here to kiss up to anybody or wipe anybody nose. I have paid for this game ever year(lately two or three times a year) since 99 or 2000 so if I wanna point out something I see thats off I feel I have earned the right to. And the devs. like Ian seem to encourage people at these sites to point out things about the game that could be better. And when Adam and Russ comes here I would hope thats why they are here in the first place.
