I figured this can be like a wishlist thread, without the wish. We should demand this stuff. It is sad that we even have to make this thread. After watching some of these videos I feel like I am going to be buying the same game. Anyways I will list below what I feel most NCAA fans would really like to see in the game. First off we dont want another gimmicky feature like season showdown when there are obvious problems in the gameplay. Hell I would not care if there was no teambuilder( I am probally in the minority) or road to glory. All I want is a realistic game and very deep dynasty and online dynasty. Here we go.
1) A defensive line shoud be able to generate pressure! However an offensive line should also be able to give the quaterback all day. If they are a good offensive line. To sum this up RATINGS SHOULD MATTER!
2) This goes with the "ratings should matter" but, I want to see powerbacks that are successful not just speed backs! The same goes for wr's. I want to have a 6'4, 220 lb wr who maybe only has a speed rating of 88. But his hands are amazing( although I dont think there are enough drops now)! I can count on him to catch anything! And he is a beast to bring down! To sum these first two up, RATINGS SHOULD MATTER!
3) The cpu ai still seems faulty to me from the videos. Just because a team has a QB Read play in there playbook does not mean they should use it! If the QB has a speed of 68 they should not be running all those crazy option plays.
4) THERE IS NO CPU RUNNING GAME! Especially out of the shotgun, I am no football guru but there must be something wrong with the blocking logic on shotgun runs.
5) PRESENTATION, PRESENTATION, PRESENTATION! How awesome would it be to have a College Gameday show in the game! Halftime highlights and analysis. Atmosphere! I want to know when the number 1 team comes to town. If I am Auburn I want to know when Alabama is in Jordan-Hare. To go with the college gameday, how about College Gameday Final to recap the day's games. Players on the field and sideline should be a little more excited in some instances, LIKE IF THEY WIN THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!
6) Dynasty mode. I would like to see each coach have a report card. I know they do now but they do not mean anything. That way coaches get fired and hired. Not just my coach. But please make it realistic, USC should not be offering me a job just because I want undefeated at Utah. Now if USC had a few bad years that would make sense, or if there coach retired that would make sense as well. To sum this up look at College Hoops 2k8's coaching wheel.
7) Momentum should matter, players should not be able to turn on a dime.
I think I am about out of things. EA I can assure you these things I listed above are a top priority for just about every gamer!
