Re: NCAA Football 10 Demo Now Available, Post Your Impressions Here
i swear to god this happened in a game, the cpu was OU they had the ball 1st & 10 on my 35 or whatever. There was a high snap that went over Bradford's head, the camera sort of went to the side as if it was a fumble but then the whistle blew the play dead and they just lost a down i dont think they even lost yards.
few things
camera feels a tad too far away, camera also moves around a lot or doesnt zoom in fast enough when a ball is caught so you can see whats going on.
too many injuries
but other than that i enjoyed the demo. Those complaining of lack of pass rush i was rush 6 times, sacked 2 times and hit 4 times and i was able to get pressure on Bradford so i thought the pass rush was ok on heisman.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 10 Demo Now Available, Post Your Impressions Here
Didn't read the previous 50 pages so this stuff has already been mentioned but offense is way easy, I feel all the games will be shoot outs if the demo is representative of the final product.. How often is there 35-40 pts scored(combined) in an 8 minute period?
And room mate and I played a game and there was EIGHT fumbles.. wtf
The game does LOOK better than I expected though, the new tackle animations are nice and I like the little cut scenes between each play..
Other main issue is way too many broken tacklesComment

Re: NCAA Football 10 Demo Now Available, Post Your Impressions Here
I was really impressed by the demo. After playing NCAA 09 for the last few days and seeing the vids of 10 I was prepared to hate it. I'm pleasantly surprised. Wrote about it in detail on my blog. http://imfokused.com/2009/06/a-look-back-at-ncaa-09/AU Class of '05. War Eagle!Comment

Where did the devs go it seems when we have something to discuss that we don't like about the game they don't post or when they do post they give us blogs of "things"they fixed.Just fix and polish EVERYTHING if your not going to reinvent and redefine. These gimmicky things that they add to the game are getting a little old.Graphics and gameplay should be the MAIN priority.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 10 Demo Now Available, Post Your Impressions Here
I'll sum up my review in two words. Severe disappointment.
I don't believe this.
Where do I start...
-The control seems way to herky jerky and at times unresponsive. And at other times over done. If I'm standing in the pocket and barely move the directional stick, the player instead of barely moving, leans too much towards whichever direction I push. I just don't feel as though I seem to have as much control as I should over my man.
-The graphics look WORSE than '09. What happened? OU's red jerseys are fire truck red, and look like just a big blob of red paint. The game looks too bright in a washed out sort of way. Florida's jerseys look washed out rather than looking a true blue.
-The new pass camera makes it a bit harder to pass because it doesnt keep with the ball fast enough, but that's because the ball is traveling at light speed. The camera should zoom in as soon as I throw the pass. Instead, I'm catching passing with a viewpoint so far back, it's hard to tell what my next move should be. And I'm playing on a 56' HD screen.
-Why does every tackle seemingly look the same....the guy just falls softly down onto his back.
- The way the CPU runs so robotic & herky jerky, it's hard to make tackles because he just changes directions so rigidly.
- Back to the control issue: I just don't feel as though I can move properly. When I run the ball up the middle, I feel like I'm at the mercy of whatever animation the game wants to choose instead of me being able to cut back & move freely.
Ughhhhh....I'm terribly upset by this. Here I have waited a whole 'nother year & hoped to get the game back right, and this is what we get?Last edited by stoncold32; 06-18-2009, 07:58 PM.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 10 Demo Now Available, Post Your Impressions Here
PS3 version bug:
I get on one play per game the ball being snapped way over my QB's head and the game calls it an incomplete pass.
Also me and my friend who I was playing both agreed that the graphics look noticeably worse this year, especially during replays.Comment

Defensive keys = me being happy. I forgot this was in until just now(5th game of the demo) LOLI can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

yeah I seen that too. Happened 3 times in the first 2 games I've played, but I haven't seen it since(playing 5th game now).
Its ridiculous to say the least.
When I first saw it I was like, "holy **** a bad snap over the QB's head!!!" then when it was ruled an incomplete pass I was like WTF!!!

Unimpressed, thus far. I've seen the same 2 tackle animations about 50 times in 2 games. That alone is annoying as hell. Not to mention, it looks like defense is going to be tough to come by, again. And I'm completely not digging the new default camera.Comment
