There is a lot to like and dislike about the demo.

Few likes:
1. I like the new slowed down game play.
2. I like the pursuit angles that players take.
3. New Animations!
4. I like the L3 button for some reason! LOL!
5. I like the new gameplan feature as well as the defensive keys.

Few dislikes:
1. Behind the player tackles...this will be overdone
2. Not enough bad passes...I know it was only 2 min qtrs but come, what QB is THAT perfect?
3. No college feel to the game
4. No halftime highlights (I know its the demo but aren't we in the NEXT GEN?)
5. No BCS Championship feel!

I will have an entire day of playing Friday so I should be able to get more from it by then.

I wonder if the run blocking sliders work because I am simply being dominated on the ground. My back gets plastered every time he even approaches the LOS.

Must be just you. I've played only 2 games and havent given up more than 20 yards each game.

Must be just you. I've played only 2 games and havent given up more than 20 yards each game.

The CPU can't run worth a crap, which is another problem. I'm talking about DeMarco Murray. I either get a seven yard carry or I get completely destroyed in the backfield.

Let's talk graphics. I love the NCAA series but when I played the demo I got a bit worried about the graphics and see a few people mention it but nothing solid. There is no doubt that the demo is a step down in graphics. Sharpness, clarity etc. I stopped crying about this long enough to watch some videos very closely and I am convinced the answer is one of two things.

1) The game in HD looks great. If you don't have HD you are screwed.

or

2) It's just the demo because most videos if not all seem to have better color and graphics overall.

Thoughts?

This is nothing more than NCAA 09.1

There just isnt enough added to the game to warrant a 60 dollar purchase, not even close. No new presentation elements. No new atmosphere elements. Compared to Madden 2010, its as tho the NCAA team took half the year off.

I agree, it looks like the graphics took a hit. The look PS2esque. Hopefully, it's just the demo version. I'm surprised more people aren't complaining about them.

Adam said something about an over-the-top animation that played too much and has been corrected for the final release. I assume you're talking about the one where the rusher looks like his left leg becomes snapped in four places.

While after playing another game with very little pressure from the d-lines I decided to do a test on Heisman. I picked OU and on every single play I dropped back, stood there and waited to see how long it was before I got sacked. I dropped back 14 times and the average was 10 seconds. Their were some pretty ridiculous ones as well. A 15, 16 and a 17. The lowest one was 4 seconds but every other one was 8 or above.

The thing is just sitting and watching showed that the suction blocking is still alive and well. Literally in some of the plays the d-linemen went around in circles around the qb unable to break free at all.

The o-line vs d-line interaction is flat out busted. It needs a major overhaul. People better pray for some of the most effective sliders ever to bandage this.

Doesn't help either how the CPU QB seems to have the mentally of throw the ball regardless of if somebody is open when anybody gets remotely close to them.

Also now the other people have mentioned the graphics do look worse than last year.

Call me a ***** or whatever but i speak the truth!

To ME i have a problem with the following
well im not very impressed with the graphics at all the crowd looks worse this year than it did in 09, not to mention the players look like they are floating on grass once again and builds look like im playing in SD instead of HD i heard the chant of MVP when tebow was on the field am i playing madden or did they get rid of the heismen in college football? i hope they have last years camera angle because this one is way to high for me when you are returning the kick it feels like your guy has 50 speed and the defenders have 99, every sack i have seen for far is the same animation of getting 1 arm tackled dragged to the ground, O linemen still stand in one spot and dont move with you and dont they have a horse collar penalty in college this year? i have seen it like ever other tackle along with the shoe string


Really only thing i like is that you can tell your players how to play agressive etc and the player lock camera but how do i pump up the crowd?
