NCAA New Camera View

I really don't like the new camera angle in the NCAA 10 demo. It's lower than the old one making it more difficult to see downfield and get a good feel for the vertical spacing. You can see the flats a bit better but I also don't like the panning and transition that happens at times. I really wish they would have included the old camera as a second option for us. Camera angles do have a great impact on our enjoyment of the game.

So, how many guys liked the old camera better, the new camera or don't care either way? As for wanting more camera angles for coach mode and more options I will leave that for another debate.

I do not mind the new camera at all. I am finding the opposite though. I am having a harder time seeing the flats and having not problem at all seeing down field.

Don't like it. Too zoomed out, especially if you pass downfield. You can't see well enough to adjust to the ball on offense or defense.

i'd just like this current camera angle to zoom in slightly more when you're passing and to zoom to the regular view when a pass is being caught so you can get YAC. I'd take 09 camera > 10 camera.

The bottom line is this:

1. If the old camera version is not available, they need to patch that in.

2. We need to have adjustable angles.

I have no idea why we weren't given the option to use the classic angle...does it give somebody an advantage in head-to-head? Madden doesn't think so.

I really hope they gave us the option to turn it off. I couldn't stand it in Madden.

I thought the camera angle was suppose to move on an angle so you could see better?

If only we had multiple camera choices...

But EA wouldn't want to give us TOO much customization.

I think I like the angle of the new camera better, but I don't like how it moves around as the play progresses. I'm also really disappointed by the player lock camera. It looks decent, but the movement on this camera is really, really bad for me (I like to play the MLB so it moves a LOT.

I actually had 1 play where I was playing spy and the QB play action passed to someone behind me. As the play action happened, the camera made a big 45 degree swivel and then swiveled back to the QB who then through it behind me and it did a fast 180 degree pan. The pass was picked off by a corner and the camera did a couple of other big swivels. I thought I was going to throw up. When it was all said and done, the camera seemed to have fooled itself because as I was returning the pick, I had to run towards the bottom of the screen instead of the top like normal.

Only 8/38 people like the new camera angle better so far. I hope an EA dev sees this. I'd like to know if a patch to add the old camera would even be possible.
