Has anyone blocked a punt or a FG? Is a patch needed?

It seems quite difficult to get pressure on punts and FG's. I hope EA includes a patch for this it is impossible. I want to know if anybody has blocked a punt or a FG on heisman or AA.

Nope, I haven't blocked one in NCAA 09 or the NCAA 10 demo. The only blocked kicks I've ever done were in Madden 09. One was a punt in the endzone and the other was a field goal where Haynesworth somehow appeared on the other side of the line.
These are a huge part of college and pro football and I don't know why they haven't made them possible the last few years.

The only time I blocked a punt was in an 09 mini game on varsity.

I probably blocked about 10 punts on 09, and maybe 2 or 3 field goals/PATs. The way to block punts was a little cheesy although you still had to have someone ridiculously fast to do it.

I personally think they have to go in and adjust the amount of time it takes the kicker to actually kick the ball. Its like the snap & kick happen simultaneously.

For the record, I've blocked 1 FG & 2 punts.. all time. It needs to be looked at.

I tackled the holder in 09 once. I perfectly timed running across the line with the outside corner back. Needless to say, I've never been able to do it since.

You guys that claim you've blocked a punt or a kick, did you actually block the punt or tackle/sack the punter? Just curious because I don't think it's possible to block punts or FGs

Can a dev comment about the possibility of slight adjustments to make punt blocks and FG blocks possible. It is too difficult, there needs to be bad snaps occasionally that lead to the timing of the punter or kicker being delayed. This inability to block punts amd FGs is a huge issue and quite the opposite of real college football.

I only blocked punts when the other team was inside their own 5. Did it a couple times.

FGs and EPs I blocked all the time. Just took the guy who stands back and tried to rush him through. He sometimes got through but most of the time, it was the NT that blocked it.

Havent had one in a long, long time.... I could do it in the genesis days though.

I haven't blocked a kick in any NCAA Football game yet. It would be nice if blocks happened more often, but not at an unrealistic rate. I would love to see those kicks that get tipped and roll down field.

Yeah thats the key here " unrealistic rate" I think what needs to happen is bad snaps about 5% of the time that cause delays. Something has to be done!!!!!!!!!

i've BLOCKED a punt once, unbelievably fast CB did it

i've tackled the punter a few times

i've blocked over 100 punts easily, in about 350 games in 09. You just have to time it right and be either the guy off the Edge out of punt block, or the 2nd guy in. On Heisman by the way
