Re: NCAA Football 10 Demo Now Available, Post Your Impressions Here
i wish the cpu was a little more inaccurate on the over the shoulder deep passes, hopefully thats due to the heisman quarterbacks being that good and there will be a dropoff with any qb other qb other than mccoyComment

Formation Subs are not in the game, though we have been asking for these since the first Next-Gen title.Comment

Wow this video has it all... the run and chuck, the 10 yard dropback from the gun, throwing deep back across the QBs body perfectly accurate, not to mention the rocket catches... but my favorite is at 2:10, when he initially runs right with no problem 15 yards behind the LOS, chucks it effortlessly 50 yards downfield to the left across his body into double coverage and rocket catches it for a 1st and goal. Good to see this stuff is back.S.O.S. Crew

But I actually like the touch passing this year. You can lead players more, and you can throw a bullet pass, a nice touch pass or a true lob. Pass sensitivity looks better this year.Comment

Not sure it's a glitch, likely poor programming, but my QB threw an INT to the middle LB who was rushing me and I was throwing a deep post. The LB caught it at his numbers. No way the ball doesn't come out higher than this.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 10 Demo Now Available, Post Your Impressions Here
This game is just like I predicted it to be around March when I said the weekly updates were weak and after playing the demo I realized this game could have killed if it wasnt so fast paced. They should have slowed it down like the madden team did.
There are killer new animations that make the gameplay look better but the speed takes away from the beauty of the animations.
The no presentation is killing me the game that needed it the most didnt get nothing no refs, no chain gain, and even no coaches on the sideline not even a fake coach???
The only thing that tells you this is 10 instead of 09 is....
Well the rosters changed, there is a net, and after the play the players celebrate closer to the camera but the exact same celebrations didnt add a one that was different.
Overall this game will be a good enough buy if they celebrate after wins and loses and for God sakes a national championship celebration. If this dont make it in there is really no need to buy this just rent for the draft classes thats if you dont want to use the cool draft classes madden has created.
Really the game has made some changes but it really isnt enough to get truly excited about its truly the same game with a few new animations(which are great).Last edited by michigan21; 06-21-2009, 10:40 AM.Member of OS since Dec 2002 BKA amaizinblueComment

Re: NCAA Football 10 Demo Now Available, Post Your Impressions Here
After four days with the demo, my biggest concerns are the lack of responsiveness with right-stick moves and the camera.
I've been playing Madden and NCAA games for two decades and I've never had so much trouble faking out defenders and breaking tackles. Sometimes it seems like it takes a full second between the time you flick the stick for a juke and the moment the ballcarrier executes the move.
And my guys aren't breaking tackles either, even when they're set to aggressive. I get my yards, but I can almost never make the first defender miss.
Not good.
I even fired up NCAA 09 to test it out, and it's shocking how much more responsive that game is.Last edited by Strummer101er; 06-21-2009, 12:05 PM.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 10 Demo Now Available, Post Your Impressions Here
I agree with the previous posts talking about tackling animations, the "skycam" view pre-snap, run animations, colors looking washed out, mediocre presentations, etc etc etc. Demos aren't the finished product. Hopefully by mid-July some of this stuff will be better and we will be satisfied. I thought the demo was ok, but I am not going to obsess over it.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 10 Demo Now Available, Post Your Impressions Here
-Complete lack of pregame sucks again.
-On-field colors still look like cartoons to me.
-Gameplay is way too fast again.
-The camera to view playart before the play sucks.
-Defensive player lock might be cool but the camera seems back too far for me to see what's going on as a safety.
-The whole thing feels exactly like NCAA 09
The info screens that try to hype the improvements/additions to the game are a joke. They basically tell you that the game is the same. Seriously how are field goal nets improving the "college atmosphere?"Prototype Supreme
