SPEED BURST!!!!!

I was wondering how many people would agree that the turbo button should either be changed up or taken out completely? I think it should be tuned that if you are tapping it they stride longer and if you hold it they have a faster running animation but guys that are 88 and below should run out of gas after a 5, 10, or 15 yards and start slowing down a lot more. There is no way every player in football can keep a constant speed burst play after play after play. Something should be done.

if you use it right it is just fine as is. i think though that your player should be more fatigued after the play, especially on a long run.

what i mean by using it right is on run plays, you dont use the speed until youve broken through the hole or are in the open field.

from all the videos, it looks like fatigue has a bigger impact this year so hopefully using speed burst more = more fatigue. maybe some who had some hands on with the game can comment on this?

i think after 10 yards they start slowing down but every player should get tirerd but some player get faster and faster when they run so what do they do ? ..... they add a new attribute .... for a player and if they can start running faster and faster and if they keep holding onto the burst they will just start spreading there legs out as far as they can or allmost start walk jogging kinda .... just a thought ...

Nfl players use speed bursts and rapid de-acceleration all the time. Playing on turf/grass with cleats is alot different than playing on ice. The only way I could see them eliminated the speed burst button is making a fast movement of the analog stick = a speed burst. But that would conflict with regular acceleration rates.

Btw it's not turbo, it's called rapid acceleration or speed burst.

What's the difference between a 91 speed using speed burst, and a guy that is 88 speed using speed burst? Either way they most likely aren't catching them.

Also the computer NEVER uses it .. so what's the point ..

no please dont even bring that up .... it would make it dificult to use the jukes and stuf from the stick because we would have to take our thumb off of the a button or the b button ... i think every thing is fine ....

Speed Burst should be just like game planning. There should be penalties for using it such as more fatigue and being more vulnerable to big hits and fumbles. Regarding fatigue, the inclusion of real-time fatigue is a must and not just fatigue after each play. I am talking about fatigue while the guy is running. If you speed burst for 100 yards, the last 30 yards of running should be a lot slower than when he was at top speed 20-30 yards into his run. I would also like to see better animations for the guy when he is slowing down at the end of his sprint. Too many times in the game you see a guy just decelerate to a complete stop in 3 steps.

Look up some big runs on youtube and see how the football player changes speed as he gets tired from sprinting, and look how he slows down.

I don't think he was saying making the A or B button the speed burst I think he was just trying to list his questions like, 'Question A' and 'Question B'.
