wow, if i didn't already know I would swear that, that 2k5 video was the next gen game compared to that Madden 10 Hester clip. It really makes Madden look like a cartoon game.

WOW me too, that kind of dampened my spirits when looking at Madden 10, I mean 2K5 didn't just look good in that video, it looked GREAT!

On another note, I think that the horse is dead and has been for a good while now, so why does Apex keep beating it? Also, gotta love hearing another minor shot aimed at the CD guys, I mean seriously, when will this garbage stop?

Apex I like your videos but in all honesty you babble too much. Get your point across and move on. I stopped watching your videos simply because they drag on with non sense after your major point of discussion. Like I tell my wife " Get to the point and stop babbling "

Did Ian ever post an updated video for us highlighting the new running animations? Are there any good video clips from game play that we can get a good front / side / back angle on the same (or similar) run for comparison purposes?

Haha I thought Apex's video was M10 too. Then I saw the new NFC vid. Its really incredible what the 2k guys were able to do. On the flip side, the new NFC vid has received more criticism.

We're stuck with what we have, its gonna be better than 09. Lets accept that, and be content. The football fans are going to buy it no matter what. We dont have a choice, Its our curse, or should I say a different interpretation of the "madden curse."

Frequent reader seldom poster....

First of all guys its too late to be askin for much improvement on the part of running animations so this is my list for things i believe will be priority in '11...

1. Improved Running animations
i.e. runners getting into lower stances when in traffic and rising up when they get into the open field{momentum}<--BIG more defined foot planting, turntables are out of style so i really hope i dont have to see them any more etc etc

2. Offline Franchise Revamp
i.e. Better Presentation ala Last Gen Newspapers Owner Messages keeping you in the know about your team, better ways to progress your team, package/formation based subs( if i have depth and talent at the lb pos i want to be able to utilize each player in different situations and ways) the list goes on and on

3. Online Chise not much of an online Fan but you that are know wht u expect/wish to see

4. Expanding on Pro-Tak's success
Not only the tackling aspect but the use of it in blocking wr/db interactions(havent seen much of tht) OL doubling beasts like casey hampton in the middle longer freeing up lbs making it more difficult to run especially if momentum is implemented and players cnt cut like superman anymore which adds to the learning curve for the game(btw im 16

) haha

5. Better Team Distinction
i.e. Teams tht pound tha rock continue to and dont stop unless they're being completely stifled

So folks thats what i hope to see in 11 because it most likely wont be in 10 i apologize if some of those are in 10 havent been keepin up to date....

for all the haters please be happy with what u have...rome was not built inna day your not goin to have everything in the game you want..improvement doesnt come in waves just in ripples(although this year is nearly that wave)

cnt wait for 10 gonna get my hands on it asap...hopefully i dnt lose my startin varsity spot cuzza madden haha:wink:

Yeah, but you get flamed all the time. I don't think the content matters.

If they put new animations in, I'd sure like to see them at better angles then we get to see in the game footage, which is usually from the back view or far away (in the case of WRs running their routes).

What are you crying about? just dont watch his videos if he doesnt make a point within your perferred time range. There are plenty of users on this site that love Apex stuff. Just stop hating on Apex because some of the posts you make are straight up pointless at times.

Yep, Gideos Prime, AKA Apex free, AKA Apex Bronx,AKA the truth chaser, (is all these names rambling?) teels the truth! Its good to see people giving honest feedback on sports games. Even though I dont always see eye to with his game preferences(I take 2k5 over madden 04 anyday), his critic remarks on gameplay are usually right on the mark.
