Collinsworthisms are far superior than Maddenisms!!!! i think i might have actually laughed at a Collinsworthism once?i'll call it a chuckle to be on the safe side. Madden just makes me shake my head.

Both are good in there own way. Maddenisms were common sense, kinda funny. Colinsworths color commentary is more in depth and looks at the intricacies of a play. Madden actually does say a lot of intelligent things during real games but the Madden developers chose the off beat comments he says and stuck with the same commentary year after year.

John madden retired when all his commentary went away when brett favre went away. Now we get to hear about chris collinsworths robe that he never throws out. You know the one that your wife keeps beggin you to get rid of. Its always gonna be there when you need it.

Collinsworth says stuff that just gets me mad. The defense will go straight in and sack my qb and Collinsworth is telling me "that's really on the wr. He ran a bad route...blah blah. wtf. Its bad enough that my oline totally blows a block and that my qb tucks instead of trying to throw, but then I gotta be told how its really my wrs fault?

Madden got boring way to fast. He makes up stupid words and phrases and I generally can't stand him.

At least Collinsworth uses actual words in his commentary.
