Yup, there's no point in being loyal to one company. Whoever puts out the better game gets my $60. It's good to have OPTIONS.

        Exactly CV... put it perfectly.

We WIN. THat's basically it... we WIN. If there is good healthy competition, then for the gamer, that's all that matters. Unless you have stock in the other company, I don't see how this doesn't benefit everyone.

Overall though, I'm really starting to wonder if any NBA game is going to WOW me anymore visually. It seems to me like visuals are starting to peak. I know that this and the Live pic are a long way off from release, but both seem like a small step up, not the massive "WOW". Looking at it in motion though, it may impress me big time, and I hope both games do.

          AMEN on the visuals.

Wow, these games have looked the same since 06.

Its not a perfect Shaq face and the graphics look like 2K9. Notice the crowd not standing with Lebron

Can't wait to see people pay $60 for a roster update. From this pic I'm guessing no strides in graphics.

Graphics cant really get better though. They can improve them a tad i think, but eventually with the tech, it maxes out until the next gen system comes around. Its been what 4 years now with the 360?

Shadow of the Colossus came out at the end of the PS2's life. And it was the most gorgeous game.

My point really is sports developers aren't known for pushing boundaries, they have deadlines and a pre-set fan base that will make them money no matter what.

hehe, ya, how many years did that game take to develop. God of War 2 is freaking awesome. Cant wait for 3, but them kind of games have a long long dev cycle.

meh... Those graphics don't look great @ all. It's time for 2K to scrap that engine already...

i don't know about you guys, but the LeBron picture of Live 10 looks better and I am not saying that in favor of any company. The bodies in 2k need to be smaller with better court spacing. I know it is Shaq, but it still looks big for some reason

Looks good to me, but graphics have never really been 2K'S issue. Keep at it 2k, you got a lot of work to do on 2k10
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.
