Rocket Catch on Madden 10

Is it possible to User Catch every route still?

Rocket Catch: cutting off the designed route when ball is mid air, resulting in a player jumping straight up an down making it so only a player with better attributes can intercept.

this is so cheesy and takes hardly any real football skill, please take it out of the game.

personaly i feel if you just over throwed the ball more when passing high bullets to sideline it would fix the sideline catch. Of course also bring back the man defense from 08.

yea, we've all played Madden 10 and have all rocket-catched...its still there everyone here can vouch for it, because we've all played it......

well, is it at least easier to stop? I hate when the defenders fall down trying to int or try to int when im holding A to swat.

from what I've read the rocket catch is still a problem.

i take everything seriously, i missed the sarcasm because i have talked to a handful of people who have played the demo at e3, i hear on all-madden you cant click on if the recievers are not more than 20 yards down field(awesome) actualy i it might be pro setting i dont remember.

People who use exploits are just pathetic. IF it is still in M10 and STILL performed with ease....I will indeed be quite upset.

How does that cheeze STILL manage to remain in the game? I guess it is more of a design flaw within the game itself therefore making it VERY hard to remove completely.

i dunno if i would call it an exploit but more of a bug / glitch. either way you look at it, it needs to be axed ASAP b/c i hate it.

Where have you read that ? Everything that I've heard about madden 10(from people who played the E3 build) says that it's gone. It's present in NCAA 10, but I haven't seen a rocket catch in and Madden 10 vid.

There have been too many threads with people demanding an answer to the rocket catch issue. At this point-the rocket catch isn't in the game or haven't been seen. Ian said that he can't GUARANTEE that the rocket catch isn't in the game because he do not know what some one could find while spending many hours in practice mode trying to find exploits. He did say that based on the improvements, WR/DB interaction slower game speed, etc, it is unlikely that it is still in the game. As of now, it has not been seen.

The bold describes a glitch, lol. The rocket catch is when receivers make a 'rocket' catch. They jump high in the air to catch the ball.
