Colorado was amazing in Bill Walsh '95. Kordell Stewart had 100 speed if I remember right and their flexbone option plays were tough when you had to the option of the Stewart QB run, the pitch to Rashaan Salaam, or the pitch coming the other way to Bryant Westbrook. Ohio State was fun to play as on that game as well with Joey Galloway, Chris Saners, Terry Glenn, and Eddie George on offense and then you had Lorenzo Styles and Craig Powell at linebacker on defense. Powell had some amazing speed (94 I think) at the ROLB which was always the best position to blitz from in the Genesis EA football games.

I have to agree with the Gators on NCAA '97. Aside from the fun n' gun offense and aggressive defense, it seemed like green could return every kickoff to the house.

are you guys just naming teams? 2004 utah? I creamed that team. As a beavers fan the 2004 beavers we so tough. On Offense Derek Anderson, Steven Jackson, Mike Hass and James newson were both 95 in speed. I could average 75 points with that team on heisman. defense was stout too but they dont belong on this list or any where near it.

That 02 Miami team also had Najeh Davenport. I think I started him at tailback a lot more often than Portis. He had speed and could break tackles much easier. I almost felt guilty using them as my franchise team.

The past 5 Florida State teams, thanks to Ben H. lol I had to say it.

I used to get dogged by Miami in 02 and 03. With Florida, they beat me on Heisman like 64-17 one time. I would go 10-1 with my one loss being a blasting by the Canes.

Re: Top Five Teams in EA Sports NCAA Football History

It's amazing people are naming teams from just the 90's-2000 time period. You have to look at the old Oklahoma, Notre Dame, and Nebraska teams of the past. But to say on par with the thread...

                    1. 1997 Michigan (Co-title? I still hate Tommy Osbourne to this day)(biased)
                    2. 2001 Miami (Didn't their entire team go to the NFL even the waterboy?)
                    3. 2000 Oklahoma Sooners (not sure if it's the right year I'ma check...)
                    4. 1995/96 Florida Gators (Steve Spurrier should of stayed....)
                    5. 1995 Nebraska Cornhuskers (What was the QB name again.. can't think right now but I don't think anybody in FOOTBALL history has ever run the option better than him...)

I won't even say I've beaten anyone on this list... The computer CHEATED, jk, oh and push all my years back one since they would be good on the next year's game I got a little confused in the thread...
