Oh yeah I forgot Casey. I ran Ace Big PA Rollout a lot with him in there. And I was surprised when I saw Shepard had some speed when I first decided to use them.

Haha i ran that play too. When I played in my online dynasty the commish had updated rosters so Casey had 88 speed. What a weapon on the delays.

Oh man. What a threat. Yeah I played against one of my friends who used North Carolina and those linebackers just couldn't stay with him and he could run over nickel backs and safeties. One of the reasons I beat him.

I liked using Rice in 09 but with the loss of Dillard and Clement (WR and QB for those that don't know).. Idk if it will be the same. But the starter this year, Shepard, should be pretty good. I'm definitely gunna try them out again.

My under-the-radar team is ECU. Last year they had back to back upsets and then collapsed. Pinkney at QB is back and he is a dual threat.

Yea I was gonna add them. Pinkney is fast, that always helps.

I liked using FAU in 09. Fun team. Central Mich I only played a few games with in 09 but another team that was a blast to use. Good to see their stadium in this year instead of a generic.

IMO, USF is one of the best underrated teams in the game. Good read though!

If any of you out there care, here's another team that you could use
Louisiana Tech - while they don't have a lot in their QB Ross Jenkins, they have a very talented tailback in Daniel Porter and he is led by an offensive line that returns starters at all five spots. Wide Receiver Phillip Livas is outstanding and is also an excellent return specialist. If you can get Jenkins hot, Livas is a major threat. Passing is a weakness for the LA Tech O, so the running game is better to use and more effective. Their defense is fairly average however free safety Antonio Baker is one of the best the WAC has to offer. They handle the run well, but the pass D is a little weak outside of FS Baker.
Not to mention kicking off the season at Auburn and then heading to Navy.

I used SMU last year and tried to turn them into a pass-only team. It was fun.

Glad some people got something out of this thread. I'm the kind of guy who likes to use a variety of teams when I play NCAA no matter what game mode. I have more fun using these teams then even my favorite team the Gators.
